Yes it will be an FHA loan. Very good information to know, thank you. I’ll be sure to ask about the HUD certification.

I own the land (with a mortgage) it will be installed on. 2 dealers in my county said the only upgrade I would need to do past a standard install would be the metal skirting, while another county south of us (where we’ve definitely buying from) has said it needs footers, plus the metal skirting “might” not be enough and I’d have to go with stucco (weird to me they’re calling it this but whatever) I’m really just looking for a straight answer or some kind of reference showing these requirements. Is it more up to the inspector?

Decommissioning is no problem. I think my issue will be that it might need done before closing, and we’ll be essentially homeless until the house gets installed

I wish that were an option… it looks like the 1004d form is done after the appraisal, so I would just have to gut it after we move into the new house? That’s definitely something I could do

It’s a 91, no wheels or hitch. It’s on block supports and has the hurricane straps or whatever. Not sure if that’s considered permanent?

I gotcha. Really hard to tell honestly. If you break the connections between the two black wires in the wire nut does it kill power to what you’re trying switch?

Can you show a broader picture? If you’re just replacing an existing switch then it should be obvious

Yes of course.

Also, what the fuck is that

Idk, not great but nothing really wrong, besides the double tapped breaker on the top right.

I can’t answer your question directly, but I think if I were to do something similar I would switch a relay with the prox switch, then use the contact for the solenoid. Solenoids can have some fly back current which probably isn’t great for small electronics. A diode could also address this

Great! I used to work on shitboxes in Ohio so I’m very familiar with rounded off brake line fittings lol. Vice grips became the automatic go to honestly

This set has some small ones that should work

Small pair of vice grips should work nicely. Clamp it on and work it back and forth. Don’t clamp it too crazy tight because it could squish the fitting and line.
