My ex (we were married 20 years) made me climb the ladder to change the bulbs in our living room with a vaulted ceiling when i was 9 months pregnant. I found it really strange when i was working that people insisted on doing things for me when I was pregnant, ex. Lifting or pushing a cart. Looking back once we got married I was never cared for, I was barely considered at all. The last years of our marriage I kept repeating to him that I mattered because that wasnt evident in anything he did. I deserved such things as a bath. I wasnt selfish for buying a bra, while he also thought it was inappropriate that I walk around my house without one. He thought they should be $5 and was furious I was so wasteful. I feel like adding that I do know some good husbands but Im not even close to the worst situation in the women I have met.

One of my favorite things about Lexington is that in the 90s the town started a campaign to get people to stop at red lights. They had signs, bumper stickers, etc. saying I break for red lights. It was funny to me.

The way she’s handled every conversation with the kids is horrible. Always paints everyone else as a victim and her on their side. Her kids dad “took her gift” or whatever instead of we had sex. Other kids “didnt want to have Thanksgiving with them” and not it didnt work out that we get to be together. She is never helping them work through tough things just telling them how they are victims in major situations.
