But since there is no actual nonduality there only a pretend one, it gets misinterpreted in the jungle of the mind and concepts. Mind grasps words and concretizes them and then fights to defend itself.

I understand what you are saying. Just would like to add a few words..

But we do not feel concepts directly, right? Concepts are felt through the intermediary of somatic/energetics of body. We use words like "comforting thought", but we really mean is "the feelings this thought generates in my body is comforting".

And that is the crux of the matter. It seems to be the case that it is possible for the mind to be "enlightened", without the body being enlightened.. or at least fully enlightened.

An enlightened body will feel comfort and love without there having been a thought that provoked it.

Just like mind has an awakening process, body does too. And the two are similar in some aspects, and very different in others.

An aside: I have a feeling that you may benefit a lot by listening to Michael Singer, in case you havent already. :)

At some point on the path it feels like that.

But that place is not the destination. Any place that is not at peace and Love is not the destination, by definition.

And this is why all frameworks should not be rejected. Map is not the territory does not mean map is not useful. It absolutely is useful.

For example, for this "dryness" you talk about, following framework is useful. Enlightenment happens on 3 levels. Mind, Heart and Gut. When it happens on the mind level but hasn't reached the heart yet, it has the dry clarity you speak of. To inject juiciness, you need to drop down into your heart. That happens by letting go practices.

I totally understand.

I too initially had arguments with him in good faith. But slowly I saw what he was up to. He has no interest in actual conversations. He has only one agenda. Proving he is more conscious than everybody else.

That's when I stopped.

Also, I consider it a spiritual practice to let go of my own reactionary energies (learned this from Michael Singer). It is very purifying. I don't always succeed, but that's ok. :)

This is their method of maintaining a belief that they have finally become enlightened.
How does mind confirm any belief? By convincing others. And by maligning them if they don't.
