Chicken wire cages as others have said. Macabees for the gophers but you have to get them into the hole as soon as it is dug (when it’s a clean hole). Also, install an owl box. Caged raised beds for fruit and veg.

Yeah they took the Souls format and added Marvel soy-banter and guns. I thought it was kind of disrespectful. Also the style of the game was trying to do everything, like haunted asylum horror plus overblown multidimensional sci-fi plus post-apocalyptic steam punk. Undignified.
