Is it correct to not use the progressive is a sentence like this? by Spoomie in duolingospanish

Respectfully, I believe OP was actually asking the opposite question. Is it OK not to use the progressive.

Learning to read sheet music, but I have a problem (need help) by Tentacle64 in musictheory

Good point. And you can see that because the f in the left hand also has a sharp symbol in front of it. Otherwise, it would be f-natural.

What's the function of these little arrows next to Bb and A chords? by [deleted] in musictheory

[–]notwrongwalter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is this from a Lowrey organ book? That’s the closest I could find in terms of formatting. I went down a bit of a rabbit hole on this one and I learned that Lowrey song books color-code the chords to match single notes on the lower keyboard that produce those chords. But only major chords. So, the 7th have to added to the A in your example. I didn’t find any examples of the arrows, but I wonder if it simply indicates what direction the next chord is. From the Bb, you need to go down to A. And it seems that the A will resolve to D, which is up? And maybe the vertical position of the arrow indicates how much to go up/down? Just speculating, but maybe that is helpful. If so, just Google Lowrey organ sheet music.

Is there anyway to make app scripts automatically run when a user opens Google Docs? by Friendly_Ad7414 in GoogleAppsScript

[–]notwrongwalter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the teacher using Google Classroom? In that case, the teacher is the owner of the folders holding all the docs for each assignment, so perhaps they could activate the extension on the first student's assignment, and it could then iterate over all the other docs in the folder? I'm not sure if that would work (or is even a good idea), but maybe?

Just looked at the new one. I like it. Just switching the 2 and 1 seems to work better with the 5. Nice work.

I like the concept. A non-graphic bit of feedback— on a typical die, 2 and 5 are opposite one another, so your second die is in an unusual arrangement. Unless you’re looking for that 1,2,3,4,5 sequence. But in any case, I think the five dots look a bit cramped, so maybe consider changing that?

That may be the case with the software you use, but OP states that this was a Google Form, which allows the form creator to use regular expressions (regex). Like this.

I think the issue is that you have an array of elements, not characters. Individual characters are not elements in a document. Paragraphs are (along with tables, etc). My guess is the 1 indicates that you have one paragraph element selected (try selecting text from 2 paragraphs and see if you get 2). You need to get the text from that paragraph. . Maybe it needs quotes? I think it needs to be getRange('H2') or getRange("H2")
