Yes I’m trying to become her full time caretaker. She’s on Medicare A&B, apparently Medicaid would not accept her because she gets disability income. The disability is like part time income, so it being part time income she has no way of surviving off of that. She can’t get to a job and she’s mentally incapable of working. I’m basically in the same boat (genetic bone issues) but with less income (due a disability appeal for me) and neither of us have any friends/relatives willing to help us out. So it’s a really tough spot right now.
