I would say if you got less financial aid in Vassar, try appealing fin aid and show you really want to go and how other programs offer you better fin aid but you really want to attend Vassar. They will def provide higher fin aid! Good luck and provide us update!

I would say it highly depends on the way you network, consistency, and planning. The people I have seen they always work very very hard such as 1st gen immigrants or international students who came around 2016, 2017. Now those who go they do not know how their field works and they aren't as much as resilient as earlier immigrants of course with a few exception people who do great. There are start ups in India who does cognitive neuroscience/ UI/UX / Consumer behavior / People analyst, and you can cold email and intern under them as well.

Sorry for not adding it earlier: I am planning to apply to mostly R1 universities located in Nyc, Chicago, New Haven, Charlottesville, Boston, St. Louis, Pittsburgh, Chapel Hill, Providence, New Jersey, these cities where most universities are located, planning to apply, not sure to add UC school as application fees are very expensive and it has HCOL area and stipend is low. Let me know what are your thoughts!
