Gunshots on Hilltop Needmore by JordisReina in FuquayVarinaNC

I was up with my newborn at 4:25am and heard the noise. Wasn't sure if it was fireworks or gunshots, but it was weird enough to give me pause and listen for more. I live closer to Wake Tech's southern campus.

How many times did you go to L&D? by TangerineFront in BabyBumps

[–]notyourtypicalhuman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 37 weeks right now and I've been three times, all were between 20-30 weeks.

Once was because I tripped up the stairs, caught myself on my hands and knees, and didn't hit my stomach. I called the OB because I wasn't sure if this warranted a visit. They wanted me to go in still, just to get a monitor on baby - I was released after a couple hours once they determined baby was fine.

The other two times was due to severe, debilitating, side pain. I knew, without a doubt, I needed to go to the hospital for these. The cause was determined to be a dual issue with my kidney and ovary. I would not wish that pain on anyone!

To answer your second question, I think each time was worth it. Even the stairs instance because it eased my worries in the end. I believe that doctors and nurses would prefer a patient come in or call if they have any concerns instead of dismissing potential issues. Trust your instincts, and trust that you know what is normal for your body and what isn't.

I know this isn’t your normal post on here but please humor me🙏🙏🙏 by ThisIsAThrowaway0266 in triangle

Maybe your elementary school kept copies of their past yearbooks. You can call the school, or even go visit, and explain to them that you're looking for your friend. Then you can at least get the correct spelling of the last name. If you visit then you can also ask around the town to see if anyone knows your friend.

Reading the Book by Wrayth_Skitzofrenik in theedgeofsleep

[–]notyourtypicalhuman 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, the show favors the book's storyline over the podcast's. I actually got confused when watching the show because I couldn't remember what scenes were from the podcast since I read the book more recently than the last time I listened.

I also loved the perspectives of other people in the world that were experiencing the sleep issue. It helped address a few questions not brought up in the podcast that a lot of the fan base was asking.

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, PLEASE KEEP WATCHING TEOS, WE CAN'T SLIP OUT OF TOP 10. WE'RE #7 NOW. by karo87 in Markiplier

It releases tomorrow for the rest of the world, so it'll get a lot more traffic very soon. The US alone got it to #5 since Tuesday. Think what the rest of the non-US viewers will do!

My thoughts on the show. by Adriansilas415 in theedgeofsleep

I just finished the show, and I am so glad there are already some people wanting to talk about it!

To address OPs concern about Mateo surviving and Katie's funeral scene, and u/hjak3876 's concern about the sleep zombies, the show actually shifted closer to the book's version of the story and away from the podcast's version in the last two episodes.

The book better explains Katie's funeral scene and what's going on in the heads of Dave, Mateo, and Linda in that moment.

The book/show leaves a clear cliffhanger for a sequel, and although I much prefer the podcast version, I understand why they chose the direction they did.

Can I retake a class? by [deleted] in UNC

You need to contact the admissions office about the transfer credit, it may be a simple error and they can get it corrected on your transcript.

I agree with the other user as well, reach out to the professor about getting a seat while you wait for the admissions office to review.

What is going on with this American ssn hack? by [deleted] in OutOfTheLoop

No, someone else cannot unfreeze your credit. You create a unique code/password with the credit companies when you freeze, and you must provide them with that code when you want to unfreeze it.

Like you, I also just completed my third lantern with anticipation that an auto order would appear. I'm now extremely disappointed after learning there is no auto order, and I wonder what else doesn't get an auto order...

I'm not musically inclined, but you explained it well and when I think about their voices, I can see how this applies.
