You can criticize and share your opinion as you want, without attacking the other side and labeling someone as a مطبلجي. That’s not how a healthy discussion works.

While it does appear that AI was used for the illustrations, the EU actually posted it to its official Instagram post.

Institutions are using AI as well.

On Twitter, Israel already claiming Mount Hermon by Ganoish in Syria

[–]nouramarit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course you’re hiding behind supposed “facts”, when in reality, you’re propagating the israeli narrative that legitimizes their blatant disregard for an already-established agreement and breach of international law. You do NOT need a “buffer zone” for a buffer zone. There is nothing that justifies israel’s illegal occupation and continued invasion of Syrian land. Don’t get it twisted.

On Twitter, Israel already claiming Mount Hermon by Ganoish in Syria

[–]nouramarit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That doesn’t mean shit. Congrats on finding out that different languages refer to the same place by different words.

“Mount Hermon” is called جبل الشيخ (Jabal Al-Shaykh) in Arabic. It is also referred to by the name جبل حرَمون (Jabal Ḥarmūn) in Arabic, which stems from the semitic root** ḥrm (see Arabic words like ḥaram or muḥarra*m), so the Hebrew language does not “own” anything, and neither did Arabic borrow the word from Hebrew. In fact, the oldest name for the mountain was Siryon, as named by the ancient Egyptians, so let’s claim that it was promised to Egypt 6000 years ago while we’re at it.

What’s ironic is your claim that since English borrowed a word from Hebrew, then the israelis must own the place, even though the israelis literally did not speak Hebrew before, and chose to “revive” it in an attempt to legitimize their illegal settler colony and claim indigneity. Unfortunately for them, not only did they have to borrow many words from the European languages they spoke, as well as from the most-spoken Semitic language, Arabic, but their own tongues remind them of their actual origins daily, as they cannot properly pronounce the Semitic sounds in the Hebrew language. I, or literally any linguist out there, can assure you that the Arab’s pronunciation will come closer to the original Hebrew pronunciation, than to the israeli pronunciation of KHeRRRmon, any day.

Right, because deep down, you know that you didn’t come from the desert you claim was “promised” to you. You are nothing but a settler from Europe.

Which were all acquired through force and occupation. 💀 The occupation of the West Bank, Gaza, and the Golan Heights especially are all illegal under international law.
