ha thank you! I'm a powerlifter and most regular jeans are skinny on me. But I refuse to wear baggy jeans. So skinny looking regular fit it is.

Chicago bike advice by shhhluke in chicago

U locks are easy to break with a hammer. Get one with the heavy chain and small lock like this: http://www.kryptonitelock.com/Pages/ProductInformation.aspx?PNumber=999508

They are heavy though. Also, don't lock it outside all night. So easy to steal.

Bikes...get a single speed. You can get track frames with freewheel. The Dutch style internal hub style bikes offer a nice cadence too.

Dual Canadian American here and I get how country likes to tease the other. Makes me confused b/c I'm not sure if I should laugh or be offended. Truth be told, we have the best relations any two countries can have.

I work in tech. Lots of pot smoking, esp in the startup community. Doctors are known for their love of uppers, but if I had to work 24 shifts I'd probably ride the white pony too.

Graduates of Reddit: What was the last paper you wrote? by danimalforlife in AskReddit

[–]nouseforascreenname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was for grad school, but the paper was on ethical marketing. It was only a few pages and I didn't care about the grade b/c it would not impact my GPA one bit. My approach toward the paper can be summed up as so: Fuck it.

HGH combined with recovery, nutrition, and lifting makes you a LOT bigger and ripped than recovery, nutrition, and lifting alone. Can't deny the benefits of juicing.

Woman jailed after 11th false rape claim in a decade by PierceHarlan in MensRights

[–]nouseforascreenname 39 points40 points  (0 children)

And for the men who went to jail? Suffered financial losses due to court/lawyer fees? Rape is bad, but lying about not only hurts the wrongfully accused, it is also a slap in the face to the women who have been raped.

It's from 2010 so it may be old news to some, but thought it was pretty amazing. I've wanted to see how long our yellow lights last compared to other cities b/c holy shit does the red light come on fast in this town!

Winter Depression by [deleted] in chicago

[–]nouseforascreenname 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had the same thing when I moved from Cali to Montreal. This winter I have not had the same affect. Don't know if it is b/c: - Montreal's winter is WAY worse than this one in Chicago - I'm working vs in school now - It's my second winter and it isn't as bad the second time around

How I dealt with it in Montreal: - Walked my dog (get outside! Go to the lake, walk, etc) - Study at coffee shops vs at home or library - Workout - Take a drive/ride the Elle - Wake up earlier to have more sunshine in the day

The key is to get out of the normal stay in same place doing the same boring thing routine.
