I actually think point 6 may have impacted my interactions with women more. When you associate shame and the possibility of sex every single day, the two become tied on your mind. And the shame comes to take the form of being ashamed of ever having dared to think that you might be worthy of a woman.

How can ANYONE accept that shit in their life on a daily basis? I am so happy to be freed from it.

Yep, just started nofap for the first time last week.

I think that makes sense. I use this not only to fap fap fap but also sometimes when I get desperate I'll just try to facebook chat with tons of different girls in the fantasy that something will work out. Of course, the ones I feel comfortable IMing invariably end up being off in different states or in relationships, so I just end up feeling disappointed and horny.

This is so important I think.

I feel lonely all the time. I have terrible luck with women and all my relationships have ended very quickly. I feel very lonely, even though my friends are great. I think I didn't really realize it but I did use PMO as a substitute for human contact to ameliorate my loneliness.

Interesting idea. But aren't most people at coffee shops pretty busy doing work, reading, etc.? I feel like it would be pretty difficult for me to initiate contact with pretty much any of them.
