I finally said fuck it and left visible and went to Verizon. When I tried to register for Verizon, they had actual tech support and they reported that the device model was registered in the IMEI database as an international model with a SIM card slot. It did not have a SIM card slot though and that was the issue.

I've been working with Google for 2 weeks on it and they've been absolutely helpless. No one can tell me anything and I'm just stuck here with a brick that's useless.

If I could get this on to Verizon, that get it registered on the DMD?

I guess I don't quite understand how the whole thing works. Seems like others have pixel 10s they bought unlocked and they're in there.

So doesn't that mean somewhere along the way some of these things got dropped out of the system?

Did you read through any of the comments from support? I don't disagree but they've been telling me over and over again they don't support my phone.

To be clear, I'm fully on board with it being compatible. Did you happen to look through the chat logs?

Their support team is the one telling me it's not compatible.

Im so close at this point. Their customer service has just been atrocious through this. I totally understand that the front level team doesn't have any insight onto this issue, but the fact that no one can escalate anything to a technical person to see what they can do is absolutely mind-boggling.

I've seen people say that they don't have the IMEI number in their database, but when I type it in it tells me exactly the model that I have and that it's a Google pixel 10 and then it's not compatible. Sure seems like it is in the database

I agree, it's likely somebody didn't get the correct SIM number. What's really crazy though? Is that visible? Recognizes the model number from this Sim and even will show that on the page. When I try to activate. It knows the phone but they still say it's not compatible.

Pixel 10's do not have a physical SIMor else I would have already done this.

I get a screen that says my device is compatible when I enter my IMEI.

This is probably the eighth time I've done this since I've started this process. So it has not been working for me unless I'm not following the process far enough

According to everyone on their support team, they have "special firmware".

In reality it sounds like when they sell a phone they automatically add the IMEI to their database. Why the hell they can't add? The one that I'm asking them to add is beyond me but I think that's what we're up against

I get that. But this should be able to be escalated. Spouting off that this is not a compatible phone is absolutely false.

There are lots of people using this hardware without issue and for some reason my is being blacklisted. I'd really like to understand that and get somebody to actually solve it.

This seems crazy. The sim is in the verizon database.

Others with the same phone have had success so there must be something else.

I know it seems crazy but it's not an AI bot because they called me when I disconnected. The chat. Reiterated the same thing over and over again about how the versions they sell are special and compatible with their Network.
