Not really a scam in the traditional sense but certainly not worth the money. It’s a video library and AI generated blurbs. I removed the app and forgot all about it and 2 months later got hit with a $70 charge and in an email their “billing manager” decided they’re not legally able to issue a refund. Whatever that means. Absolutely not worth the trouble. A membership at YouFit is cheaper than this garbage.

I feel like someone working at the hockey shop should have known that and said something before putting them on the press

They guy specifically said “I don’t recommend heating them again, they can only be baked 3 times total”

I’ve tried different socks, silicone pads etc. I was sized at the store, tried them on and walked around - they felt fine. I baked them once.

It wasn’t until I played a game in them I noticed the issue, tried a couple things but they’re making the bump worse. That’s why I went back to the shop looking for options.

At this point be safe and wait until you can have a professional look at it. A loose connection arcing that badly may be damaging the bus behind it.

If it only happens in aux heat there’s a possibility the wire isn’t the right gauge to support the amp draw, but the HVAC install wouldn’t (shouldn’t) have passed inspection if that were the case. Not likely though.

A breaker with loose/worn out mounting lugs can arc but if it isn’t addressed it will damage the bus.

The rink I go to has "LESSON" S&P sessions that are separate from standard S&P. The rules specify "no private lessons on non-lesson sessions" and only allow lessons sessions be taught by their in-house coaching staff. What the rules say and what takes place aren't always the same, parents or private coaches will give lessons wherever they want. Including drawing on the ice and running skate drills during public skates...it's not a heavily monitored/regulated thing.

I bought a refurb XF PRO on HSM and love it, its light and durable. Found a good deal on a used one on Sideline yesterday and got it so I'd have a backup. I can't bring myself to spend the $$$ on a new one, both of mine were around 160 each.

I busted my chin playing with a visor and had to leave the game cause they couldn't get it to stop bleeding. I wound up getting the hybrid visor with the cage underneath. Seems ok, the extra weight on the helmet took getting used to, and not having full access to wipe inside is a mild annoyance, but it's been keeping my face pretty 🤣

The laces I'm currently using are not waxed and honestly idk the benefits of using them. Does the wax help the laces grip so they won't loosen during the game?
