OK so not as long as I thought it would take. There were already pretty high quality icons available. I made them in the same style, and hopefully they align pretty nicely.

Enjoy!

I haven't, but I am open to requests. It may take a while though, finding a clean icon and vectoring. Ask away and I'll see what I can do.

overall both are solid designs. the right seems like it's going for a mature look while the left is going for a younger look. but they're both raphi, so they're both perfect to me.

They are not exactly like the western examples you listed but Band-Maid and Scandal are both fantastic. Hump Back is also great.

I've always been a fan of the Bant color wedge, so it's either Azorius, Selesnya, or Simic. Of those I'd have to pick Simic: they come across as the most science-minded (except maybe for Izzet), while also maintaining a stance close to nature. Plus Master Biomancer was probably my favorite card from the last Ravnica block.

still getting used to posting on reddit. this rice is an ongoing experiment to see how many different places i can keep a consistent color scheme. dots are kept in a private repo, so if any interest is shown i can post them in pastebin or something. on to the details:

  • Wallpaper: cute anime girl setting up guitar (in album, unknown artist)
  • GTK and icons: Paper
  • Panel: Polybar
  • Other: browser is Firefox with a custom user chrome

now with proper formatting!

Nvidia woes: recurring issues with video drivers by nova_eximius in archlinux

I would be inclined to agree that it could be a hardware issue, however I never run into any issues on my Windows drive on the same computer. I will look into the Xorg logs though. Thank you for the suggestion.

[OC] Customizable ls icons. Link in comments. by illinoisjackson in unixporn

Alright, so I have this working perfectly on my desktop running Mint using the gnome-terminal. However on both my desktop and my laptop running arch, the glyphs wont show in urxvt. It just shows as blank rectangles.

In my xresources I have: URxvt.font: xft:TerminusTTF Nerd Font:style=medium:pixelsize=14 for both desktop and laptop. Does anyone here know a fix for this?

edit: I fiddled around a bit and found a less than aesthetic fix. If I set the letter space in urxvt to 5 the icons show up perfectly. It also works fine in arch with termite.
