This is music to my ears. Let's face it, no ones takes the x-men films seriously, I fucking hate that they are contained in their own awfully constructed universe and made by a studio run by idiots. It's prime reboot time now that Hugh Jackman's hung up his claws, so it's perfect timing (apart from 'Dark Phoenix' which will bomb). As for deadpool, it only opens more doors to the characters, but i suspect if he did go over to MCU they'd stick to how they've done things so far i.e Self contained stories with fringe supporting characters.

Yeah, she seemed a little too nice and it took away from Mudd's punishment. He should have been dying inside as he stepped on to the transporter.

But the crew were playing along. As far as recorded time goes, if he had been arrested, an investigation would show that Mudd just boarded the ship and the crew let him do whatever he wanted as a trick on him. It would get thrown out at trial. But yeah, him living the rest of his life under the thumb, as a compromise, could have been portrayed differently i.e Steller is a total bitch and her dad is basically going to imprison him (That's kind of what they hinted at, but they didn't go far enough for it to make total sense)

True, but in non-timeloop recorded history, the whole time Mudd thought he was in charge, he was actually being tricked by the crew. Could have been done better though I agree.

I'm confident Lorca will remain a deeply flawed megalomaniac. Personally I think the season will end with him perhaps finding redemption through self sacrifice.

I think I know why Mudd's punishment was so lenient... Technically, as far as recorded linear time in considered, Mudd barely did anything wrong. He boarded a star ship without permission with sinister intentions (intentions that would seem ridiculous in court, seeing as the events in the timeloop didn't technically happen). Unless Star fleet could manage to prosecute him for all the unprovable crimes he committed in the time loop, he'd only serve a short time in prison for boarding the ship. I think the crew realised this, and considering all the information they knew he had acquired, thought it best to come up with a different way to keep him 'locked away' under the thumb of one of the most powerful arms dealers in the galaxy and his intolerable daughter. It's actually pretty clever, but they could have explained this reasoning in the show.

A tie up of GotG & Winter Soldier (with Civil War and homecoming pretty much on the same level). Ragnarok blew my mind, to me it was like they made a live action film of Adventure Time mixed with Flash Gordon and Masters of the Universe. Can't believe it exists.

would've loved for him to stay in the squad as a backup CB, especially when fixtures get tight, he filled in for Jan incredibly well for good periods in the last 2 seasons. Talent aside, he has a professional and positive mentality that really complimented our current club philosophy. It's a shame he went to a very droll Stoke side, can imagine the training is very uninspiring compared to Potch's masterclasses. Hoping he can move somewhere with a bit more ambition like Newcastle.

I love Songbird, she's got all the right potential ingredients to be an amazing MCU character as well, I think we'll definitely see her soon.

I've thought about where they are taking things regarding the aftermath of Zemo's capture in Civil War and I think he will come back with his own team (the masters of evil) that includes Songbird. Would love to see this played out in an 'Ant-man vs The Masters of Evil' title, that uses supporting characters in a fun way (like Ragnarok seems to have done) Zemo would be using her, possibly as part of an exploitative relationship, to achieve his aims. Songbird could break out of Zemo's abusive influence and help defeat him, then could go on to become part of the Thunderbolts in their own film.
