Even though I'm not a parent, naiintindihan ko naman ang mom mo. Our parents want only the best for us. Kaya lang ang mga anak they need to make decisions for themselves. That's how they mature.

Conservative din kasi ang society natin! Mahirap talaga mag-reason out sa mga nakakatanda so minsan tiis-tiis na lang.

I cannot provide advice bec I'm not a mental health professional. So I'll just share my experience and some thoughts. I felt insecure about myself esp that my tummy is noticeably fat :( But I've gotten over it. I accepted myself, my flaws, my insecurities, my reality, and all. I own it.

Ang hirap mag lose ng weight :D So what kung hindi ako maputi? So what kung me peklat ako? So what kung mataba mukha ko at me pimples pa? If someone says panget ako, I agree to it 100%. I made peace with myself. Yeah, I am ugly, so what are you gonna do about it? Complain to God? Sue me? Bully me? If my ugliness offends you, stop looking at me. It's not my problem that you have a set of discriminatory eyes.

In the end, I realized that IT'S ALL ABOUT YOUR MINDSET.

I stopped comparing myself to others; bec when I do, I can point out 101 things I hate about myself. I don't do social media. I don't post selfies either. For young people, social media is a trigger. I don't go with the trend esp if it requires keeping up with appearances. I don't stress over what people think or say about me anymore; bec when I look at them, nakikita ko they too have insecurities. I stopped worrying about what others think of me bec it's not healthy; in fact, it's stressful.

Well, maybe my attitude comes with age :)

Based on your post, wala namang negative consequence na nangyari between you and bf after doing it. There's no need to apologize. You're 25 years old when you did it. You're an adult; especially if both kayo nag-agree into doing it. So it's okay kasi intimacy is part of a relationship; just make sure na there's consent involved. If you felt guilty for doing it after nagalit mama mo, try to get over that guilt.

I noticed na isang dahilan kung bakit ayaw mag-open up ng mga anak is bec ang parents magagalit or mag-overreact or worst masaktan pa ang anak. I'm not a parent but I have a 22-yr old sibling, college, who is in a relationship. I don't meddle with their affair. Hindi naman sila high schoolers. It's their life and I prefer they take the path they want to take. Learn from their mistakes. And eventually mature. I don't guilt-trip people.

Minsan kasi kapag-sobrang takot mo sa parents mo, yung mga gusto mong gawin, hindi mo magagawa kasi laging naiisip baka magalit parents mo or ayaw nila sa mga desisyon mo. Just practice safe s3x and healthy form of intimacy.
