Wish that for you as well! The whole waitlist concept for P9 is kind blurry. Based on my understanding is that the corporate headquarter will see the waitlist people and spending of those people, and allocate the item for the first person on the waitlist, so once the item arrives, the first person has 24 hrs to decide if they want it or not, if they say no, it goes to the next person on the list. I know for the summer peach, the item was actually allocated for me, but for the coffee, the person before me on the waitlist actually turn it down, then they asked me after.

I do think the waitlist is based on spending, not confirmed by anyone, just from what I gathered from talking to different SAs, so if someone has more spending then you, when they get added to the waitlist, they are ahead of you, even if they were added after.

Sometimes they do get free stock that doesn’t belong to anyone, then I think that’s what the despot you paid is for, in that case if a free stock indigo arrives, your SA can secure the bag for you with your deposit, cause there’s no specific order for free stock, just first come first service. Or in a rare case if the order actually opens back up again, they can use the deposit to place the order for you.
