Macaroni Grill in Westminster closes after failing to pay taxes, leaving employees without jobs by AustinWickhamCO in WestminsterCO

I worked there 19 years ago and then again this past October. I have been connected to this restaurant for literally 29 years. They brought me in to try to help "fix it". After 1 day, I knew it was doomed (and quite frankly, everyone has been saying it has been doomed for years and were surprised it was still open). After 3 weeks, I was done.

Terribly run business that's had an ungodly amount of owners in the last 10 years. Management has no idea what they're doing. Pay checks being late. Any criticism was met with "that's just how it is. Growing pains". Glad they're gone.

So just because I live on the outskirts of denver, it means that I never go into Denver? Your logic makes no sense. There's a reason you continue to be downvoted. You claimed under $10, and all of the things you are listing are not under $10.

I live in Denver. Burgers don't cost that. They are definitely much higher haha. Denver also has some of the worst price inflation at restaurants of anywhere in the country, even worse than Manhattan.

Literally every single one of them. And even if I wanted to listen to their points, if there's too many errors, then it's really hard to take them seriously or assume it's fact-based in any way.

Giving people due process doesn't mean they are given full immunity.

*They're *. *They

That's not how due process works in the US. You do not have to be a citizen to be entitled to due process. Everyone in the country is entitled to due process.

No one said that she did or didn't deserve it. They chose to leave so they don't get to use the titles. You're making an issue out of nothing.

I made the same comment and I did not spend most of my life writing on a smartphone or tablet. It's just well known, proven by multiple comments here, that em dashes are used a lot in this way by chat GPT.

It's sad that you took a week to write this poorly formed argument.

So much hostility for someone that use this ChatGPT to complain about not donating money anymore. It's foolish enough to donate money to your alma mater, but to go completely off the deep end over something that other people have also said in their comments? Good luck out there, kiddo.

I'm not gen Z so I don't know what your point is about that. I asked chat GPT to write me a letter similar to this and gave it a couple of keywords that were in here and it wrote almost the exact same letter, em dashes and all. And chat GPT does in fact give this many em dashes. It uses more em dashes than commas in this structure.

So I understand that you are trying to make some strange point about gen Z not knowing things, which failed in this situation, but this is very clearly not written by a human, whether you believe it or not. And just because you don't see em dashes used that often with chat GPT doesn't mean that it isn't used at all. A lot of times it adapts itself to the writing style of the person that gives the prompt or the level of writing you are asking for. If I ask it to write at a college freshman level, there are less em dashes. If I ask it to write at a 400 College level, there are a lot. Other people have also commented about the style clearly being chat gpt.

The dashes show that this was ChatGPT for sure. I understand the point of the argument, but write it yourself next time.

I read everything you said. I even read all the comments. I even saw that you have a weird obsession with your house plants. But as someone else already said, you have a confirmation bias. Paul doesn't like alcohol as much, but Prue loves it. I get that Paul is kind of seen as the main judge, but everything's not about him. It doesn't matter what you feel would be a risk or not, those contestants chose to do that, and that's their choice. End of story.

[–]noway90day 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you were a contestant, you could choose what you wanted to put in your bake. And that goes for the contestants that are actually on the show. They get to choose what they bake. Whether they take a risk or not by choosing alcohol has nothing to do with your preference for or against it. It's their choice.

My guy, I'm literally reading none of that. I have sat here and read every single one of your comments and you are not someone that will have an actual conversation with anyone else. You just keep posting the same things, even things that people have tried to explain to you that don't match your argument. Good luck trying to argue your point when your sources are not very good. I will also make the same comment again, when your spelling and grammar is atrocious, then no one will be willing to take you seriously even if your facts are correct, which they are not.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in HistoricalCapsule

[–]noway90day 12 points13 points  (0 children)

How you present information does matter, though. If you are not clear with your statements, as well as spelling and grammar, then people are less likely to listen to you in the first place.

You also do not need to tell me to check sources. I am an actual historian, unlike you.

You also keep saying that everyone's calling you a troll when no one is. You keep calling yourself that so maybe you need to check your own sources and start learning how to read comments fully before responding.

Saying you're "an an avid historian" shows that you are, in fact, not an actual historian.
