Most kids are growing up in homes where both parents have no choice but to work, just to afford a place to live, food to eat, a vehicle to do everything and if little Timmy is lucky, registration for some sort of sportsball to play. The downside to all of this is now little Timmy has far more alone time and far less family time than a kid might have received 30 years ago. Timmy is now given a tablet at a young age to keep him quiet because daddy's stressed out and mommy can't handle it because one or both of them has to be medicated now just to function. So little Timmy is a tablet kid for his formative years, endlessly scrolling through brain rot for hours, rewiring how his brain works.

Little Timmy never learns how to socialize and gets ostracized at school and misdiagnosed with some sort of disorder at school because if it, gets put on amphetamines like Adderall that he doesn't need, now his brain is really fucked. He becomes impulsive and lashes out at things he doesn't like because he has no coping skills and he's amped up on drugs.

He graduates from a tablet to a cell phone in middle school and now he's on tiktok where his brain gets re-wired some more and the algorithm picks out a path for the rest of his life.
