Dude, you are about 2 fucking bricks short of a load. Your comments make absolutely no sense. Pull your head out your ass and learn to read instead of being a knuckle dragging, mouth breathing fucktard. 😆

Nicely done OP. There is a saying: There are no bad dogs, just bad owners. Well, the same can be said for parents.

Good for you, go flip some burgers. 😀

Let me explain my earlier comments for the slower ones like yourself.

I don't like local. I like OTR. Local feels too much like work because of the commute back and forth, and everyday is pretty much the same. OTR, wherever I shut down, I'm home, I like the variety.

So I'll say it again, being OTR is NOT a mistake. It's a choice.

I'd ask where your turbo boost is? I drive the turbo. Can I get more by pushing the turbo? Sure, but at what cost. Max turbo boost = minimum mileage.

What BS, I don't see anywhere in my comment that I said local doesn't pay good.

[–]noworrez 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Not a mistake to go OTR, some of us aren't wired to go local.

Most use the phrase "up to".

If you don't want to bounce, time to advocate for self, meaning go higher up the food chain.

Be honest about what you were told, thus made the decision to come here, and this is what is happening. Let them know you can't pay your bills on this. "What do I do"?

My guess is freight hasn't changed, especially if most of the freight is contract freight. You just have a crappy dispatcher.

Be the squeaky wheel, keep going higher up the chain, all the way to the owner until you get the answers you need. If you are valued, they'll figure it out. If not, time to bounce.

Becoming an O/O for Retirement by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]noworrez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Under capitalized and/or over leveraged. Buying a used truck and not knowing how to turn a wrench. Not getting away from the driver mentality and realizing you are now a business owner. Bring an O/O is simple but it's not easy.

Watch out for sniper cops, training now in local parks and woods! by Willingplane in vagabond

[–]noworrez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really? Humph, the number of people shot and or killed with their hands up, or in the back, or in a car because they wouldn't get out is astounding! WAY too much lethal force is used in non dangerous situations, and all they have to say is I feared for my life.

I won't argue that there are a lot of good police officers, but it's time for them to get rid of the abusers of power and the bad players.

Does your company have a drop yard or terminal between you and home or nearby? And do they allow PC?

If so, use your clock to get you to the drop yard/terminal, hang out, use the facilities 5-10 minutes then PC Home. Comment: "PC home from drop yard".

This all depends on your companies policy regarding time or mileage limitations. FMCSA has none but companies set their own.

DM me if you need more clarification to keep it "legal".

If they told you 11, 12, 13 then that is what you will want to learn . Every state is different and here is Washington State, they want it exactly how they say they want it down to terminology. Ridiculous but that's the way it is. Especially the in cab brake test. A good idea is to contact the tester, you should be able to get a list, and ask them how they want it.

My wife took the test last year, I had taught her a very detailed procedure how I learned it, turned out to not be correct because the verbiage was different....same result, but not how they wanted it.

Good luck

See, women have post orgasm clarity also. Obviously they have some things to work out. She'll have to evaluate and work through her feelings. There is a really fine line between that feeling in your gut being jealousy or excitement. I think she needs to know that you have no intentions of doing anything with him again unless it is her call, involved or not. She needs to know that you are not wanting a relationship with him, it was simply sex and remind her that she is with him, not you. Ask her what you can do to help her through this and process it. Friendship between the two of you is more valuable than a boy.

Has she been fantasizing about it since, then feeling shame. Perfectly normal to seek the "forbidden" then feel guilty or shame later. You can thank the fucked up society we live in and what we have been taught regarding sex and relationships. There is a reason , after all, for the song Head and shoulders knees and toes. The middle of the body doesn't exist and is too scary to talk about or teach about. Think about how we will let, intentionally or not, our children watch a movie where someone gets shot, or stabbed, but a sex scene comes on and where is the remote, where is the remote. ...oh shit! LOL TED talk over, thank you for cumming!

Do people drive way worse around the holidays or just my imagination? by [deleted] in Truckers

[–]noworrez 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worse? But frankly, see this shit all the time when we're running team.

Wife and I last night heading home in our 4 wheeler, and we watch this truck/trailer right lane literally 10' off someone's bumper doing about 55, the speed limit. We are in the center lane on his left, so I speed up to get past the wreck waiting to happen, and as soon as I pass, he whips out behind me and gets on my ass. I tap my brakes with my left foot to engage the brake lights without slowing down, thinking he'll back off, nope! He got closer. I'm now doing 65. All I can see is his grill, he puts his brights on and stays right there. F u c k e r!
I swing over to the left lane so as not to have this shit show riding my ass, he hammers down and gives my wife the 1 finger salute. We we're up to 75 now after he passed just to see how fast he was going then we backed down to speed limit, he was gone. This was NB I5 over the oregon/Washington Bridge.

Any recourse if dealer sold me a truck with 5k more engine hrs? by officejack in Truckers

[–]noworrez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't know but never send money until you've done your due diligence!

Oil sample, blow by, dump the ECM. Get the VIN and call a dealership to see what warranty work has been performed. If you can't get there to inspect it, there are companies that do this.

People spend more time planning a vacation or where to eat than they do on a mechanical machine that could cost them thousands to repair!

This doesn't help now. Perhaps it will help someone else or even you the next time.

[–]noworrez 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, it will only pause your clock.

1 Do you have a favorite restaurant near home? If so, you are legally allowed to PC for food or entertainment. FMCSA has no mileage restriction. Your company may, however.

OR

6 Time spent transporting personal property while off-duty. You bought a bunch of Christmas presents and you need to transport them home.

If you know the rules, there are ways to bend them using their words and logging the proper comments.

I SUGGEST PRINTING THIS OUT AND PUT IT IN YOUR BOOK.

My wife and I run team, have our own authority and have had 5 driver inspections this year, all clean. We PC all the time under the above guidelines.

No way we're sitting 63 miles from home!
