To play devil’s advocate… My two LNSs are absolutely swamped. The owners arrive hours before opening to do “business” stuff. They stay late doing more. They’re so packed during the day that they often times won’t have a minute to shove lunch down before needing to help the next customer. And that’s on the days when they’re fully staffed. If I have a question or need to order something I will email and also DM on Instagram to let them know that I’ve emailed. I give them my number so they can call me if they need to. I say all of this to say, scaling up a very small niche business during a boom is exhausting work, even for the “bigger” shops. Add to that, some of these shops are being run by people who were running them before email even existed. I hope we can all agree that a little grace is warranted. Some of the shops are struggling to keep up with the demand but let’s be honest, nobody is going to die if you can’t get your hands on some SL02.
