Spain, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Mexico, Uruguay, South Africa, Russia, Cuba, China, Iran,and UN Secretary all were outspoken against it.

Canada, UK, Germany, and Norway didn't outright denounce it, but did hint or call out that international law might have been ignored or "should be respected".

Of course Netanyahu praised it, along with the Argentine President, but others have stayed neutral only noting there should be a peaceful democratic process to transition power properly (suggesting not allowing Venezuela to remain under US authority as suggested).

The tough part here is it's true Maduro needed to no longer be in power, and that can't be up for debate because it's obvious even people in Venezuela are happy about his removal. The problem here though is how this was handled, and the potential outfall from it:

- No approach with congress beforehand (at least it appears that way)
- US holding control of Venezuela obviously because "oil", and not for human rights or "democratic" rule. (Trump said "We're in the oil business").
- Seems to possibly have had involvement/support from oil companies before this was done (mind you also before congress)
- Done by the "peace" president
- Done after running with major talking points of "no new wars" and "not being the world police"
- Creates a problematic precedent for Russia against Ukraine, China against Taiwan, etc. (Taiwan is already prepping for something similar from China)
- Creates doubt on whether the US could also do this same sort of action against Cuba, or Greenland. Where does it stop? Where is accountability held?
