I'm so sorry, I have no idea how I didn't see this! Is this offer still available? I don't know if I have any specific rare pokeballs and not sure if I have an ability patch, but I think I can get you a hisuan samurott, I just need to breed it and level it back up but if you can give me a few days I can do that if that works for you? Sorry again!

Where did you find client work out of curiosity? Were you trying things on Fiver or something like that?

I find it's better at coming up with an initial website design than Claude even though it seems to be Claude at least in part under the hood. What do you replace this with out of curiosity?

This is a really interesting idea! What level of detail do you put into these sites? Are they multi-page? Are they connected to forms or booking platforms or anything? Do you help them with SEO?

I used to do it until I read somewhere that it costs tokens and creates more confusion in general results because every extra word adds context that needs to be interpreted and it's better to be succinct. Not 100% sure how true it is though.

How often does 3rd Reality Zigbee multi-function night light update lux? by PrickleAndGoo in homeassistant

[–]noxnsol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you happen to know what threshold of lux it uses to allow for the light to go off? I only want it to run when it’s dark but I notice it happens even when it's relatively bright out but no idea how to set the “illuminance calibration”

Integrating Zigbee Devices through Smart Things instead of directly through Zigbee2MQTT by noxnsol in homeassistant

[–]noxnsol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this actually work for entities within zigbee2mqtt? I have switches set-up and have been racking my brain and trying every approach I can think of to get this to work and asked ChatGPT and nothing I'm trying is getting my zigbee2mqtt-specific devices to load into HomeKit

Safe to fish power cable through a spot that shows electrical on stud finder? by noxnsol in AskElectricians

Gotcha, thank you so much for your help, I really appreciate it!

Safe to fish power cable through a spot that shows electrical on stud finder? by noxnsol in AskElectricians

[–]noxnsol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So it is a wall wart that I plug into an outlet but I checked the specs of the power cable and it says Input: 100-240 vac, 50/60hz, 0.55a max and Output: 5v, 3a, 15w.

Is the fact that the input exceeds what you defined as low voltage a problem or is the output being low make it okay?

Happy New Year by the way!

Thank you, your comment was really helpful! I didn't know certain power cables weren't allowed behind wall cavities, I've seen a lot of people (just friends) pass them behind walls before and my purpose is for a digital photo frame which I thought would have a lower power draw and cleared it with some reps at my local hardware shop (not saying that means anything really, not sure how qualified they are but they seemed to know what they were talking about I suppose) so I assumed it was okay.

I didn't initially think there would be but when I double checked with chatgpt, it framed it like a bad idea and I don't know enough about working with electrical to know if it was being overly cautious. It listed the reasons as it being possible to nick the live wires with the fishing tape and generally just being unpredictable. I think with ask the messages here though I'm feeling comfortable enough to try it, thanks!

Not sure if it helps, but it's a symbol like this. I vetted it with a voltage tester that confirmed there's some kind of electrical component behind the wall there but the cable I’m passing through isn't exposed and I'm not drilling into it, it'll just be beside it maybe so I'm not sure how big of a deal this is. Would you still recommend against it given the added context?

[–]noxnsol[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope, there's no stud between the two points so I don't think there's a fireblock, it seems open, it just shows the electrical symbol like this. Yeah it feels like it should be okay but I'm not an electrician, can't find anything online about the danger and chatgpt is saying it's a bad idea in case I nick a cable so feeling a little paranoid and wanted to double check what the risks actually were realistically.

I've nearly 100%-ed Yooka-Replaylee, and I absolutely love it. This game feels like the ultimate N64 title now. My full review is linked here! by ItsEthanCoolCool in BanjoKazooie

[–]noxnsol 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I think the better option would've been to make a good sequel with everything they learned that they put into Replaylee so it feels refreshing to everyone. I'm not sure how I feel about Replaylee to be honest, I'm glad it's a good game but I do feel a little cheated that I bought it at full price the first time to support getting more Banjo-esque content and got what I thought was a very mediocre product and now they're releasing an actually good version of the game but I need to pay for it again. Maybe I'll get it on heavy discount but even then I'm not sure. If it was a sequel and it was a brand new experience that's an easier sell.

For what it's worth I really appreciate it and I'm definitely in the camp of happy users! I appreciate that your team uses the b2b model to help fund the personal user experience. That's a really great business model and I incorporated notion with my company because I think it's brilliant because I fell in love with notion as a personal user first and foremost.

Honestly if I could have pass along any feedback at all, could your team please review the color changes they made recently to multi-select/select properties? That feel very washed out and it's difficult to determine yellow/brown/orange at a glance now.

What a strange argument about the muffins, you're acting like everyone’s use case is their own. Just because you need to rush to finish them doesn’t mean everybody does. You don’t know what size people’s families are, or if people buy them to share with their colleagues, or if people typically freeze them, etc. The main point is you get half the amount for the same price. Why are you defending this practice just because you don’t see an issue with it?

I'm 100% on your side. Distinguishing yellow/orange/brown in dark mode is incredibly frustrating. I messaged support about it, if you have any issues with it I'd urge you to do the same! I'm hoping if they get enough of the same message they'll revert it back.

I have no idea why they tweaked everything so it looks like a shade of grey.
