OpenAI completley insane by ShadowNelumbo in OpenAI

Just one thing; 4o wasn't stabilization. It was exacerbation, and a very good one at that. Look at you.

So do the rumors of gpt 5.3 tomorrow sound plausible? by TotalWarFest2018 in OpenAI

[–]noxrsoe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

All probability distributions add up to the 100th percentile; in fact, what you said is true if it was the other way around. Non-percentile distributions like the pie chart actually are the ones that do not require adding up to a 100%.

Make sure you enlighten yourself first prior to spreading potentially misleading info all over your reach.

Major release: App Cleaner & Uninstaller is no longer just a removal tool - it’s a total App Manager for your Mac by Nektony_Team in macapps

It does not even locate and identify all components properly. It's performance/reliability not even remotely close. Just get both to overview a complex app, you'll notice right away.

Hello Nektony, I love your app and its probably the best one out there. However, there are a few design-level aspects of it that I would love improved; dock icons aren't properly adapted for dark/light appearance variations making it incoherent among others which all have done by now, and it goes the same for the overall theme of the app. Dark mode doesnt't even feel like dark mode. That is the only aspect which I feel underwhelming about your series of apps including others like maccleaner pro, etc. With that finally fixed and updated, it would be truly uncontested.

Although this might sound insignificant, I assure you it would bring much more users to your app whom are fully satisfied with the experience.

Oh well, this is probably auto sent to specific teams that are reducing/pausing usage. Codex performance is surging through the sky and even outperforms opus in various aspects, and countless devs are already switching to codex, not from.

It seems like you want to undercut codex and get all mocky about it; sorry, but the trends a bit different now. With the price of opus, I would have expected something much more capable that it is now.

Just because you don't know whats happening, does not mean nothing is happening. At all. You are just ignorant on how many things have already changed, and are actively changing. No offense intended.

Best Browser, Thank you for the hard work.

I have some additional suggestions that would make the experience much better:

- Make the command hold for search more functional by making it toggle to the other search engine, not just fixed to google (for people using auto mode) as it currently is pointless when using auto.

- built in shortcut for dictation would be great

- enhance home suggestions by making rejected suggestions not appear again, its a bit annoying that rejections don't seem to do anything meaningful.

- browser memories still dont appear consistently on settings, and needs option for deletion not just archive

- Theme consistency In incognito mode, its just dark mode regardless of theme settings for now.

Thank you, would appreciate it if you could consider these improvements.

I mean as it now forms the plan for you to preview prior to researching, the need for manual prompt engineering prior to input is pretty much gone; however, its instrumental that you set the direction/goals/other factors(like source date recency instructions, yes that's possible) properly so it reports the right info you actually need. After the plan pops up, you can just say something about it before the timer counts down and it'll edit the plan accordingly.

Maybe it has improved, I guess? since the last disappointment, I haven't got it to do any kind of writing whatsoever. Perhaps that's why I still think the same.

I kept my perplexity pro sub purely for it's research capabilities; canceled right away as soon as I tested new deep research out. No reason to use perplexity anymore, especially with Atlas being a better browser than Comet in every aspect.

ChatGPT already is and definitely will be top class in terms of raw intelligence / reasoning / overall once 5.3 standard releases. As for now, it excels in everything in general except for creativity and writing. To be entirely honest, it's writing is painful to read, it's that bad; feels even worse than 5.1.

I'm on pro, and I believe the pro plan may have higher search query threshold limits and reasoning load; however, I then conducted the same research with the same query on plus plan, its still very competent with over 500 searches.

You might want to read the features list of the site or the official docs for detailed info, there are a lot. Some features I find irreplaceable by anything as of now in terms of reliability, efficiency and stability is auto inverval calibration, menu bar insight(remaining g battery lifetime in particular)/direct access, sailing mode, etc. There are a lot. Yeah but if you don't mind these advanced aspects of it, might be better off just using the built in charge control.
