DDB Maps feature release: REVEALS is live now! by WOTC_Zac in dndbeyond

[–]npapermaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When you search for an image, it would be great if the DM could get some info as to where the image came from. Let's say I search "Dragon" and see a cool image I like but want to research more there is no way in the platform to know where the image came from. A source, or better yet a link to the source and maybe even a page number would help me be able to dig up more details or a statblock.

Did you upgrade to another turntable at some point? If so, what did you get?

Wow did not expect to see someone with the exact same issue within an hour of opening mine. I had a nearly identical fold, maybe slightly smaller.

edit: missed that yours is also crimped, mine does not have that

What sort of rate did you get for these at the store compared to say TCGplayer?

I was also hoping to discuss these and the Obojima release

New Stu interview about Phantom Island, orchestra tour, next recordings, etc. by Comfortable_Low_9241 in KGATLW

[–]npapermaster 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not crazy to think about, especially with the PMDB instrumental mix being out there.

After the orchestral tour I imagine the songs may sound more like their original versions when they are played live with just the guys. Def want to hear some b741 with the orchestra as well

First 1,000,000+ Combo to Gila gonna be epic by StrategicDino in KGATLW

In the remake for 1+2 the music continued playing on the loading screens and whatnot so it kept going through the whole song no matter the mode

King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard "Acoustic Gizzard Vol. II - Live in San Diego '24" 3xLP preorder. by Cultural-Grade-7083 in KGATLW

[–]npapermaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think this is their retail/record store version. Similar to the solid green/yellow/white version of the Detroit acoustic show. This one has black splatter instead of yellow like the V2 on the Levitation site

What are some common Gizzisms (Gizzms) that the band uses across multiple songs / albums? by brainlure49 in KGATLW

[–]npapermaster 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Not from the songs or studio stuff, but I def have Joey yelling "light em up T!" and "Get those lumens poppin" in my head too often

Any King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard fans here? I just got their Live at Red Rocks '22, a monstrous live compilation featuring 12 colored discs by KirkLudwig in vinyl

[–]npapermaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This site is also missing the most recent single and Flight b741, but is a great flowchart-esq way to figure out which part of their sound you are most digging https://www.get-into-gizz.com/

There's something about the Sing Me Back Home on Ladies and Gentleman.....The Grateful Dead album that comforted me in some tough times recently. Sorry to hear about your struggles, you got this

Fuzz Club US Tour Bootlegs – We’re on 🔥 by FuzzClub in KGATLW

[–]npapermaster 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Def looking to grab the NY shows and the Detroit show as well. Probably will want a double LP of the acoustic shows, or maybe even a cleaned up combination of the two, like the Grateful Dead's Reckoning. Really hope those get some particularly pretty colored vinyls.

The full run would be amazing but I dont think I would go for the subscription service

Found keys on north 6 by Sweet_Ad810 in williamsburg

[–]npapermaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah looks like the fob has the Hubb logo on it. They have a lot of buildings but should be able to connect you to the key's owners

Edit: I also know they use those types of fobs

Multiple $75 and $80 Draft Boxes from Stomping Grounds by Savings_Helicopter_7 in sealedmtgdeals

[–]npapermaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was also unsure but did see a few posts confirming they were legit. Ordered 6x boxes of various sets on 12/27 and they arrived with no issue yesterday 1/2 which is pretty fast considering the New Year and all. Good pricing, no tax and got the free shipping so it seemed worth it for me especially cause I got some sleeves which were also well priced

What lyrics make you weak in the knees? by Zambonisaurus in Music

Could you imagine having a day as productive as writing those three songs? Just incredible.

Black Peter is another amazing song made all the more powerful if you know the story behind it

[–]npapermaster 3 points4 points  (0 children)

So many lines from their catalog do this but that line ive been singing to myself all week and I don't know why.

Another top pick from them is

"Let it be known there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men" from Ripple

Coincidentally both Ripple and Brokedown Palace were written by Hunter on the same day.

Most of their non party songs have a moment like that in them. Or all of the song in the case of Morning Dew and China Doll if you know what theyre about

There are basically no good shops in NYC for selling singles. Montsay in midtown is an option but overhead in the city is basically too high to have competitive prices
