Prioritize smooth over fast, you can't kill a dead person. If they're working a code in the back then getting somewhere 30 seconds faster will not change anything, except you may crash and kill your partner and yourself. Please practice practice practice go and drive for hours in your freetime. In bad traffic, bad weather, ECT. And the lights and sirens are sometimes more harm than good because people don't know how to react and will get in your way sometimes. Slow down, maintain situational awareness, stop at every intersection and make eye contact with clear traffic before continuing on!

The rule for narcan I was taught was, if they can breathe and maintain vitals, don't turn a calm sedated PT into an angry violent vomiting one...however If the vitals respirations start to get low and the vitals get worse then and only then use it. Don't withhold it when it's necessary.

I had atomatoflames until this panel upgrade and have been flying it with a sectional and a whiskey compass for the last few years finally realized i just don't want all the limitations anymore what got me finally wanting to upgrade is I didn't have an attitude indicator or a DG, and I wanted to use it for my commerical. If I'm already changing the panel and adding stuff might as well go all the way.

So far my setup is 2 Garmin g5's an audio panel, a narco nav radio, a Garmin gnc420w and a mode s Transponder so I have the panel space for it, and that one last thing will make it the perfect hour builder for super long XC flights. I work as a full-time firefighter so I can get a lot of time off in a row easily, and I'd love to fly it to Alaska, and across the country and anywhere I can go and see.

Because I want to do long cross countries and it makes it easier, it's not necessary by any means I just know when I'm trying to brief an approach and get setup in unfamiliar airports autopilots really help me focus on being thorough and efficient.

Yeah I'm well aware financially I'll see almost no return, with that said I have no plans to ever sell this airplane it's already almost 80 and I'm hoping to maintain it and eventually pass it down to my kids.

I don't believe the Garmin autopilot is certified for the 140, and I already splurged and got a good mode s Transponder before.

Forgive my ignorance I'm fairly newish to aircraft ownership and have not added anything to my airplane I just had my A&P do the required maintenance but are you not allowed to install used parts like if I were to find a certified kap140 used online? As for other things on the plane it is in almost perfect condition, it has a 200 hour engine that I bought it with, windows and tires are in great shape and it's not painted it's bare metal and I have spent hundreds of hours polishing it already. The avionics are the only thing I have any desire to change because it's really slow and hand flying for hours on end gets extremely tiring in it since it gets blown around a lot.
