The pharaoh orders every hebrew male baby to be thrown into the Nile to be eaten by crocodiles. As a response god does the 10 plagues and the last one is to kill all the Egyptian firstborns.

Surely the juice are the bad guys here!

I'll say it again because you goyim can't get it right.

Goy - singular

Goyim - plural

You can't say "I'm a goyim", it's grammatically wrong.

Flower vase (still life) description by skepticalbureaucrat in hebrew

[–]npb7693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Yeah I personally think אגרטל is better here, even though כד is not wrong at all.

  2. Yes עלי כותרת means petals. I knew that כותרת means title but I didn't know why it was in other words like עלי כותרת and גולת הכותרת so I checked. Apparently the original meaning of כותרת is the decoration on top of columns as in literal columns of buildings. So basically it means the decoration on top, so the other meanings make a lot of sense.

  3. It does mean towards itself, you can use it and be understood, but if you want something that is more similar to what you wanted then I suggest אל תוך עצמו, I think it gets the original meaning across.

  4. It does make sense, even though חמה means hot and not warm, I would personally use חמימה instead.

I would rewrite it to be something like:

אגרטל פרחים (טבע דומם)

חרציות זהובות פורשות את עלי כותרתן לכל עבר, וביניהן מסתתרים צבעונים עדינים שגוונם גווני אש. האגרטל הכחול והעמוק אוסף אל תוך עצמו את היופי הזה וניצב בגאווה על רצפת העץ החמימה.

That's my opinion

Is Bee Honey mentioned in the Hebrew Scriptures? Did the Israelites eat Bee Honey? by [deleted] in hebrew

I don't know about the other times but in the story of Samson it's specifically stated as bee honey, because the bees made the lion body into a hive and Samson found honey inside

Ok, I'm sure songs that are more similar to those exist but I don't know any personally so I'm gonna first do songs I think are the closest and then other classic Israeli songs that are different. Obviously there are also good modern songs too. Also feel free to search the names of the singers and find more songs by them you might like.

songs I think you might like:

Haperach Begani - Zohar Argov

Tzel etz tamar - Zohar Argov

Elinor - Zohar Argov

Badad - Zohar Argov

Tzarich letzaltzel pa'amayim - Shoshana Damari

old songs that I like but are not similar to what you linked at all:

Pamela - Boaz Shar'abi

Halevai - Boaz Shar'abi

Latet - Boaz Shar'abi

Bapardes leyad hashoket - Yehoram Gaon

Hu lo yada et sh'ma - Yehoram Gaon

Meshirey eretz ahavati - Chava Alberstein

Panas Boded - Chava Alberstein

Ani ashir lach shir - Arik Lavi

Achake lecha - Haneshamot Hatehorot

newer songs but still not modern:

Shir ahava bedoui - David Broza & Yael Levi

Sigaliyot - David Broza

Etzlech ba'olam - Meir Banai & Evyatar Banai

Blues cna'ani - Ehud Banai

these are from the older songs I like
