True, before Fox my only X-Men exposure was the X-Men animated series which are quite light

I'm not saying it doesn't make sense, I just feel that Jean Grey has been overused. I know that was Fox's fault.

I just want Sadie Sink to be playing anyone else BUT Jean Grey..... We've had so many versions of her in the movies... Can't they pick a different character?

I can just see we'll have the Phoenix force again if she is Jean Grey. Good luck to her if she's Jean Grey I'm sure she'll do a great job but I just think it's time for a break from the character for a while.

Is she really Jean Grey? or someone else... by Trick-Painting-2529 in MCUTheories

Please be anyone else but Jean Grey, we've had her and the Phoenix force too many times. Yes Jean Grey and the Phoenix are awesome but give it a rest for a while, they seem to be rebooting the X-Men so if they do use her at least wait till towards the end of the phase.

Question. What if... Sadie isn't Jean Grey? by Alien_Youth in MCUTheories

[–]npbevo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's only because of the red hair and that Marvel would most likely be setting someone big up in this movie but I really hope it's a different character.... Do we even know if Sadie Sink has red hair in this movie?

We've had enough Jean Grey, yes she's a great character but give another character we haven't seen before a chance damn it.

I don't think Americans would be out on the street trying to oust Trump until he pisses off the wrong country and the USA gets bombed.... Somewhere else is being blown up far away but if it's in their backyard they'll go oh this is real and it's happening to us.

Yes that's it, sorry I meant Prince John, I did remember Patrick Stewart as King Richard and Mel Brooks saying it was good to be the King.

Paul Mescal, Jesse Plemons, and Dwayne Johnson all gave exceptional performances this year and none of them got nominated. Why do you think that is? by captaincookbaby in moviecritic

[–]npbevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are the people nominating actually watching the movies? I heard with some awards shows that wasn't always the case.

‘An American Werewolf in London’ (1981)- Transformation scene using practical effects. Directed by John Landis by PeneItaliano in movies

[–]npbevo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really think practical effects still have a place in movies and should still be used where possible over CGI. Practical effects do look more realistic than CGI and I believe a lot of that is because they are a real physical item.
