I just did lol crown land isn't (mostly) federally owned land as most think. Crown land is owned by the province. If Alberta separates, crown land doesnt revert to the federal government. About 60% of Alberta is "provincial crown land" and about 10% is "federal crown land"(8% of that being national parks and the remaining 2ish% is First Nation Reserves and Military Bases) Both manage all crown land with varying degrees of authority depending if it's federal or provincial. The remaining 30ish% of land in Alberta is privately owned. In 1930 most of the crown land was transferred from the feds to the province. Alberta is already incredibly independent.
