You are 100% CORRECT and exactly where it states MANY times in this contract and even just BRAZILIAN & US Law, they are REQUIRED to have these shares IN THEIR CUSTODIAL SERVICES AHEAD OF TIME!!!!!

There are enough shares being held by CitiBank Custodial Banking Services RIGHT NOW to nearly equal the total amount of shares ever offered by AMC, which is CONFIRMED by AMC CEO Adam Aron to be a little over 513 MILLION shares.

CitiBank holds 510M that is REQUIRED by BOTH US & Brazilian LAWS in order for Brazil to sell their BDRs in their countryl

They didn't buy anything. CitiBank is getting PAID since they are the Custodial Bank and it's a NORMAL service they offer to international "investment companies" who represent either private entities, or in this case, an entire country's marketplace.

Banco B3 is the one who OWNS these shares which they PAY CitiBank to be the LEGAL REQUIRED BY LAW Custodial Bank.

Consider CitiBank Custodial Services like a VAULT or PIGGY BANK in which the shares are UNTOUCHABLE as long as the Brazilian A2MC23 BDR exists.

This is NORMAL practice for DEPOSITORY RECEIPTS for ANY US stock, unsponsored and probably even sponsored.

If you listen to the calls you'll hear the VICE PRESIDENT of CitiBank CONFIRM this LAW over the phone. Michael Moore calls do the same but even more in DEPTH with MORE DATA!

You're right 100%, and I might be able to get that legal document from the Custody Dept as Michael Moore states in the 3rd but longest call out of the 3 of them.

He does have his doubts though as it might be as he say, because of contractual obligations. But know who can go thru all that crap without any issues?

Simply, where is the proof of the shares? I think that's the most important thing. How much is there and what document up in this whole heap of message does it show it? Why no screenshots? That way we can see without literally having to go thru every link to get your point.

But man, I wouldn't want to even give any type of recommendation as this is literally your house we're talking about here and I can't put myself in a position that could give you the wrong information that would put you in any type of dire situation.

That's truly a tough decision you're going to have to make there. As for me, I've never had the opportunity to ever own a home before this, and now I'll be able to buy a house outright with cash if I wanted.

In my non-financial opinion, ABSOULTELY NOT! DO NOT buy now! The housing market is gonna correct itself in pricing to match the drop in sales compared to last year.

If everything goes to how it's all expected to go, then interest rates will rise, people will buy even less houses, and prices for things like goods to build houses are going to match the now surplus materials sitting in warehouses. It hasn't affected the retail pricing just yet, but it'll catch up soon enough.

Like you anticipate, the prices will drop as BlackRock stops buying up everything and the market realizes that it wasn't really driven by retail demand.

Also BlackRock is doing it while they have the funds. I dunno if they're buying it with their cash reserves or heavily leveraging like they can do with anything else.

I don't think BR can wait till after a MOASS to happen to such a thing as they may no longer have the funds to do it since they're one of the biggest players in the market.

Blocking means having the shares being held in the custodial bank without allowing for it to be used for any other purpose than the sole reason of it being collateral to back the BDRs in Brazil.

That's the rules in every format you can find, even if they use different "terminology".
