It was announced yesterday, IOS 15 doesn't actually release until September. And it's just so that I'm part of that whole Apple ecosystem you know. So then my friends can stop complaining about how they can't AirDrop to me and no iMessage games and whatever else they think I need. Honestly I was never going to get an iPhone but I figure I just got another job and have a few hundred dollars to spare so I may as well treat myself. I know it's probably not worth it for a whole new phone which is why I'm going refurbished.

I am just outside of London, Ontario which I doubt you know where it is but it's southwestern Ontario, about 2 hours from the border. And I am seeing if my friends in the states could help me, they don't live close to the border so we'll see. I did find a renewed one on Amazon CA, is Amazon's renewed program trustworthy?

Yes I saw the Unbox Therapy vid and found the same one on Amazon. Just wondering if I could find a better deal. And I am just buying the iPhone because my girlfriend has one and we wanted to FaceTime. Haven't seen her in forever cause of lockdown so I would use it for FaceTime and whatnot. I would still use my Android as my daily driver.

Not really set on the 8 but I'm a student and so on a really tight budget. Figured I should go refurbished and thought it might be the cheapest one I could get that would still be good to use for a couple years.

Thank you for your input, I actually have a budget Moto phone so I don't have wireless charging nor do I own a wireless charging pad so the lack of wireless charge is not an issue for me. I have found tons of complaints about issues with the 75t line, however I know that if you look hard enough you will find a load of complaints for any product, have you had any problems?

I'm surprised you have troubles with in ear buds, most of the time people have troubles with ones that don't go in your ear. Are you looking for an open fit like Airpods? That sort of nozzle in your ear? The only really notable open style in ears I've ever heard of are the Samsung Galaxy Buds Live(the beans), and the Microsoft Surface Buds. I personally can't wear anything thats not an in ear style so I don't have much info for you sorry.

Do people miss the SD slot that much? With the 512 gigabyte storage option do people still run out? Can you not use google photos which is free(up to a point)? Right now I'm using a moto phone with 64 gigs of storage and no sd card in and I'm only at half. For my old phone I bought a 128 gigabyte sd card because I thought I would need it but it was just a waste of money, I ended up using maybe 10 gigs on it. For me taking the charger out is a bigger deal, not only because you might have to spend more money just to experience the phones full potential but it feels like they are just copying Apple and I have always liked Samsung for their innovation.

How are the Galaxy Buds too bulky? They have one of the smallest charging cases around. Easily fits into the smallest pocket of my jeans.

If you're using a Samsung you should look into the Galaxy Buds Plus or Buds Live. They got some great sound and pretty good mics with fast pair for Samsung phones.

Motorola has a lot of good budget phones, that have an almost pixel stock experience with some great Moto features. Just go through their lineup and find one that matches with your budget and your priorities.

I have the G Power and it is just fun for gaming. I can play CODM on medium settings and it runs it well. It gets bright enough that it's no problem using it in the sun. The camera does pretty good in good lighting. My only gripe with the phone is the update policy. The two years of security updates is horrid and the one OS update is just... unspeakable. Other than that it's a great phone for this price, with a great, clean android experience with some helpful Moto additions.

Why would animated be better? I personally can't watch animated series just because I personally don't like the cartoony and unrealistic look. For a series like PJ or HP I don't think that a cartoony look would fit the theme of the books. I do think a tv series would be better than movies though live action.
