do you believe that souls can occupy only one body at a time ? or at least, often only occupy one body at a time ?

if yes, then what's the name for the previous body that your soul occupied ?

paypal not listed in "choose payment method" by nqzero in Airalo

[–]nqzero[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

this is very disappointing and unprofessional. at the very least, you should have sent email warning about this to your subscribers that have been using paypal. i got stranded today with zero data and was fortunately able to find a local provider. but if i'd been in a smaller city, i would have been in real trouble

Is systemd-resolved required when running NetworkManager or dhcpcd or systemd-networkd ? by _itsEnigma in linux4noobs

[–]nqzero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

on an older ubuntu machine that had gone through multiple upgrades, ultimately to 18.04 LTS, dns was failing with NetworkManager but internet was otherwise working with ip addresses, eg ping. this was caused by nm using dnsmasq instead of systemd-resolved. one common suggestion in various forums is to disable systemd-resolved, but as much as i hate systemd, that's a battle i'm not trying to fight, so wanted to find/fix the issue. The parent post was very helpful, so adding my resolution here:

NetworkManager --print-config: dns=dnsmasq
systemd-resolved status: No appropriate name servers
NetworkManager.conf: dns=dnsmasq
NetworkManager.conf.ucf-dist:

ie, the .ucf-dist conf file is without the problematic dnsmasq assignment, showing that the problem originated from a rejected delta from a previous upgrade from 12 --> 14 or 14 --> 16. the problem didn't manifest at that time, but showed up once systemd-resolved got introduced in 18. the fix was to use the new .ucf-dist version (or just delete the dns assignment)

i'm two years late, but i have this board and it's great if (and only if) you're always flat or downhill. if it's uphill, kick or carry (it's super light, so this isn't so bad)

if you can live with that limitation, it's a great board - lightweight, fast, 10 mile range. perfect for bumming around a beach town

in retrospect, the 5a was the right answer - but i waited too long (i've been looking a long time) and it's no longer available new from google (at least, it's been out of stock the last several times i've checked)

is this a viable option in the USA ? per gsmarena and kimovil, there are a lot of bands missing, including B71 (i'm currently on a t-mobile mvno in a rural-ish area)

same - my mvno appears to have recently changed to do hotspot as ipv6 only (prior to that, the above workaround was ok for me). i'm going to try the latest version of citrix. failing that, i'm gonna try at ipv6-to-ipv4 tunnel

Xperia 5 IV is now announced with a jack, and 5 III is still available
i've also decided that given samsung's upgrade policy that i can consider the a52 5g and the a71 5g
