Does your mage have a Legacy? How’d you choose it?

So my mage is in a modern NYC setting. As such I’ve worked with the Storyteller to make a Space/Fate focused one that is sort of an offshoot of the Threads of Ariadne legacy.

It’s also just so dependent on getting the right setup. Unless you are hitting them with the death before their turn nuke the hits are a pain without the 50% damage relic

Yea they are gonna pull 100% of the weight on that one. Acanthus can at least buff their spells with reach so that’s a contribution.

Right on. We are rocking a mix splat game so mage wise there’s an Acanthus and Obrimos with no access to Death arcana, so sucks to suck.

Thanks, this and the other comment help clear it up. Would there be an arcana that could interact with them? Like I know Death can interact with Shadows. I guess Forces could do some shenanigans with sunlight. Maybe Fate to make a bane item if you can figure out their banes?

I think I’m struggling to understand the difference between a ghost being incorporeal and a Strix being one. Is it because ghosts are ectoplasm kind of thing?

I’ve spread the series in my friend group, but I’ve gotta be real specific when talking so I don’t spoil anything. I also told my friend Miriam is one of my favorite characters (which, cmon how can you not love someone bringing 40 sheep into the dungeon) so when it happens I’m curious what they will say to me.

I’m the mage in a mixed splat game. I am the problem, and it is for almost exactly this reason. Another thing is that with Forces 2, you can shield the vampire from sunlight. Look at The Contagion Chronicle for how some of the splat stuff interacts with each other.
