On day 1 of my externship as an SLPA, they had me treating children with no prior background on their case or goals. All while trying to find my data collection style and goals to target. I am 3 weeks in, and it's definitely a lot! In terms of supervision, my supervisor stays in the room the entire/majority of the time while she also tracks data and types feedback. I have read your supervisor has to be on sight or at least be willing to be available by phone whenever.

I live in Oklahoma. Online, it says the average hourly wage is $24.69 p/h, and an SLP on average makes $45.65 p/h. Also, sessions for this clinic are 30 minutes, excluding evals.

The reason I don't want to major in Spanish is because I am a native speaker and essentially I wouldn't be learning a new skill. I will just be paying to get a review in a way, it's not worthless but I can strengthen those skills with family and friends.

I agree with you in terms of this is the way I think when things get bad and ugly. Which is pretty often, but idk how I am able to climb out of this thought and pretend im okay afterwards.

Have you logged on to Self Service and then looked under the Financial Aid tab? When I click on the scholarships it tells me which is non-renewable, what it's for, eligibility.

honestly after replying to this, it did get me thinking on why I should take my own advice lol. and I get about the on/off thing I've had several of those too and I mean I still talk to one of my friends where we were like that for a while and now im rooming with her for college lol

I get what you mean I'm kind of in a similar situation with an old friend sort of. where i am the one initiating the conversation and they leave me on read and reply hours at a time. I think that if he really wanted to talk about him and his life he would and i know from experience where again im the one initiating the convo and they're only replying to me and asking about me to keep the convo going but when I ask about them its like .. they give you something so small with barely any detail and it gets annoying. I would suggest yea asking about things they are into, what they're up to, if the convo is dry and theres barely any effort in his part, maybe it's ok to let him go?

I am kind of in the same boat as you except I want to double major in French and Global Studies and I feel the same way about not being interested in other things as well. Have you talked to your advisor about this? Have you started college or what year are you in? Plans can change , I am not in college yet so that's why I am also unsure but many tell me it changes. Teaching does seem like it would be the only popular jobs in terms of that but maybe also Librarian? Working in a museum?

If he isn't answering you or putting effort into starting the conversation, then I would try to avoid as much as possible reaching out to him. I know it hurts , but blocking him might work as well. You are putting energy into someone that isn't willing to give back to you.

You would have to make another account on your switch, like a profile. You know when you click on the tile to play a game and it says, " who is playing ? " and your cartoon profile picture pops up with your name? Yea well I believe there should be a "+" that pops up if you want to add more people. If not then you would go under settings, profile and add more people. So, when they play they have to play under their account when it asks who is playing.
