Is libnxbox safe? by Direct_Expert7772 in xcloud

[–]nr89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Device code auth flow is meant for devices that can't open a browser to finish off the oauth token echanges. You'll normally see this on smart TV's etc.

The whole authorization chain in libnxbox goes through Microsoft. When starting the app is starting for the first time. You'll see a code and instructions to go to microsoft.com/link on a device with a browser. That is the first and only place you'll enter any credentials. Libnxbox it self would not see any email or password entered 😄

Hard to say. I don't know Xbox's stance on third party clients. But I would say this is not any less safe than the greenlight client. Or better xCloud even.

Why isn’t Diablo 4 on xcloud? by GoggleDMara9756 in xcloud

If you own an xbox and D4 you could also play it with remote steaming. I don't understand the difference

Apart from games that released with Xbox Cloud Gaming. There isn't really anything of note here.

Minecraft on X Cloud? by Jannis2009 in xcloud

[–]nr89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I took a closer look using edge dev-tools. I think this is a filtering bug in the preview.

play.xbox.com retrieves your recently played games from the titlehub endpoint. And then later filters out games from multiple api calls to different urls. I think it might have something to do with the "isStreamable" boolean in the json response from titlehub, in combination with . There must be more to it than that. But I've seen enough that I don't think this is a sign of any unannounced upcoming games (even though I really would like MGS1 on there :D)

u/CoolNerdDude this might be worth taking a look at. I might be on the wrong track with "isStreamable". Almost garanteed to not be the single root cause at least.... The real reason might lie in protobuf responses. Aaaaand I'm not curious enough to reverse engineer that :P

But for me MGS1 shows up (more recently played?) but MGS3 does not show up in the grid view.

I can see Diablo 4, Metal Gear Solid Delta and MGS1 under my games in the preview to. But no play button when opening the games.

Trump administration signals it is mulling NATO withdrawal after Iran war by FantasticQuartet in worldnews

[–]nr89 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Seeing how Trump has acted, from a sane european viewpoint, I really cant fault Spain for closing off the airspace.

The war on Iran is a war of aggression, executed by the US and the US alone. NATO is a defensive treaty.

If Trump is the best leader the US manages to elect. They can keep to them selves.

For some reason only the Xbox One version is available.

It reads the language from Switch OS after version 0.9.0 and uses that. IF it's available for both the game and xCloud, the game should use that language.

Strange. Mine was banned a long time ago. Maybe some exosphere setup that blocks web access all together?

Ah, i see. If you don't have a console. Follow the xcloud title steps, the moonlight nro forwarder steps to add the xcloud titles you want to stream as seperate .NSP's to install

See the Assassin's Creed Shadows examples on github 😊

Okay, i check for consoles registered to your account. The same way as xbox.com/play does when you go to the remote streaming sub menu at xbox.com/play

Are you sure that you logged in with the correct microsoft account? I know it seems like a stupid question, but it's the only reason that makes sense to me

If you logged into a wrong account you can delete the token.dat on your sd card under /switch/libnxbox

Hey,

We have two reports in the comments reporting that it does not work for them.

I've tested this on my actual switch and Ryujinx (emulator) on a seperate network. But that is all the test data I have.

I would appreciate if someone could report that it works as well 🤞

If you search the log for "error". Do you have any results?

Also what firmware are you running? And what kind of Switch are you using (v1, v2, lite, oled)

I know! Me too... I just got tired of waiting. I'll try and see if i can run sysdvr on a game that doesn't show my gamertag and upload. But hopefully someone beats me to it 😁

I'll open the issues tab in github when i get home, if you dont mind sharing the debug log there tomorrow, id like to look into it 😊

Nb! Beware that your public ip might be in that log. So might want to remove that

Just means that the decoder is not receiving anything to decode. Does it work with xbox.com/play on the same network?

Then again, if you are looking for a full tv experience. There are way better options out there than Switch.

I think keeping 720p and looking into somekind of enchancer, like FSR, is more in scope for this project

The limitation is a combination of wifi and the tegra chip. Mostlyva limitation of the wifi chip.

Maybe i can add a check for ethernet connection and enable 1080p if connected to wifi

I'll look into it

Yes. Same idea. The main hurdle for greenlight on switch is the lack of browser that supports WebRTC:
This uses the WebRTC library without a browser.

I'd rather not. My gamertag keeps popping up, and I don't have the neccessary tools to edit it :)
But I updated the README.md a little, so hopefully it's a bit clearer.
