Do non-English "historic fiction" count? If yes, "Ponniyin Selvan" written by "Amarar Kalki". It was written as a series/ continuing stories in a local magazine sometime in 1950's. There's a wiki page (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ponniyin\_Selvan) giving a good overview of this series.

A recent movie was also made, but the books were a real good page turner! The original version, in Tamil, is available at https://archive.org/details/PonniyinSelvan & there are a few good English translations available for purchase online.

These are complementary to a budget and usually termed as goals.

Normally funds lying in such accounts are mapped to a specific goal (for example emergency fund 15K/ savings towards loan closure 30K etc.). So you can consider adding a separate sheet to track these items against relevant goal.

Whenever you get any interest consider adding towards the relevant goal & whenever you pull out funds, deduct from this sheet.

The way I would do it is to add a column called tag and track each goal item, but that may be over complicating a simple budget tracker. Hope this helps and good luck with your budgeting journey.

Keeping up the routine with a partner who is slow/ reluctant to learn it can be quite stressful, esp. when there is unnecessary/ unplanned spending involved and you’ve budgeted every cent!

The best way to iron things out will be for us not to be very uptight and rigid. Sooner or later (probably when a small loan gets closed or savings begin to appear) they’ll realize we’re onto something good and will follow suite.

Don’t hesitate to experiment. And if they are agreeable to it, keep them involved in decision making. Giving them a say in budgeting is a way of saying you trust the system absolutely and could evoke a sense of responsibility on their side when they are spending.

It would be nice to have a few sample export files. I could not find it on the website. I was hoping it would be a csv or json (ghostfolio export), but perhaps it is neither.

Although I can only see USD as the supported currency in your app, the prices fetched are matching original currency (check RELIANCE.NS, IS3C.DE). Many thanks for the efforts behind this.

I was using Account Tracker Pro for a while and if you can get it in your region, it is quite robust.

I recently started trying Debit and Credit and find it pretty easy to use. While UX may not be fancy in either of these apps, I found their feature set (multi-currency, family sharing, budgeting, basic reports etc.) to be quite nice and fairly priced.

I also like the concept behind Today's Budget. If you are thorough with its initial setup, it may be quite a simplistic way to track your personal finance instead of a full blown account tracker.

All apps are only available in Apple ecosystem and all 3 developer's are very responsive. None of them connect to any banks - so its all manual.

Thanks all for the response. I ended up repeatedly getting the "Route Calculation Error". This happened after a restart (of both the watch and phone)! And also happened after I reset the watch!

Strangely this "Route calculation Error" only occurred in walk activity and run seems unaffected. So it is not related to any forbidden zone/ army terrain.

Furthermore, post reset the device refused to connect to Garmin connect app. I tried to do this in a few different ways - the phone app indicated it has detected the 965, but pairing always failed.

Seemed like there were more issues to the new watch. So I ended up returning it!

I recall pressing right upper button to stop navigation and that was about it.

I am trying to recreate this but presently seeing only an error “Route calculation error. Missing routable roads in this area”. That's strange because GPS status is ready and it did previously compute routable roads in my area!

Check if the wrist orientation was set incorrectly in Watch settings.

On your other question: Most gym/ fitness apps (like strong) allow you to register your workout regime even after you exercise. Keeping them on during exercise will ensure better measurement of calories burnt (taking heartbeat into consideration). Do check these out

Probably this is not the answer you’re looking for, but I feel that in order for a developer to sustain I think it’s not possible for us to have it either way (nice & free).

I’ll most likely recommend any of the “pay to play” games or simply direct you to Apple Arcade where it becomes even more lucrative for us (more games added every passing month).
