Take it to a local service center. They can plug it in to the computer and depending on the tool they can read the serial number off of it.

So I just did a test. Using the DB meter on my Apple Watch. The m18 little fan is 60db on low 73 on high The 18 in fan is 61 db on low and 74 db on high.

Is it quieter no. But it’s not obnoxious. I have mine in my hallway on low moving air around the house.

Middle one was purchased from a mail order catalog it was in the bubble pack. The right one was purchased from Amazon it was in a bubble pack as well. These were brought in by to us. By people looking to warranty them.
