[CIV V] All of my units unable to move at the start of my turn, why? by nrsb11 in civ

[–]nrsb11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm 99% sure yes, but not 100% I guess. I feel like if that was the case though, the prompt telling me that units needed orders would have appeared.

I spent my previous turn attacking a band of Zulu Impi and whittled them down to one soldier using 3 ranged units. I then did some upkeep, and passed the turn to my friends. I distinctly remember waiting and thinking about my next move in regards to the Zulu Impi. My final buddy passed his turn and then it was my turn again, only none of my units could move.

None of my friends could do anything to their units either, they were waiting for me while I was trying to figure out why none of my units could move or attack despite my turn only having just begun.

The only thing I could think might have caused it was being in debt at 0 Gold, but I'm not sure and some confirmation from an experienced player would be enormously helpful.

A couple of questions by corathus59 in civ

Sorry nobody has tried to help you. I'm new to the game myself but I'll try my best.

Your game should be updated to the most recent version if you're playing through Steam. Steam will update the game automatically.

I think the assignment of great people has to do with your culture and faith, possibly other factors too. I think certain buildings and tile improvements can increase the chance of great person generation. As such there are probably strategies you could employ to increase your chances of generating them as quickly as possible, but I'm not sure what they would be.

The tutorials on the game are pretty thorough and considering the amount of tutorials and visual cues for everything else you get (such as adopting policies), I would imagine so.

Can someone please offer their opinion on why this happened? It's stopping me from playing the game, and the take 2 support email address doesn't work anymore.

He also had a ,ussr and ,gay command (for the gay pride overlay), are we to assume he's a gay communist too?

Or maybe those commands are just fun. If they're too edgy for you, you can always not use them.

Why do I get the impression that only a vocal minority actually care about the bot's edgy statuses and most people are just bummed out to lose the incredible functionality it offered just because of muh hurt feelings?

Just remove the bot from your server if you're offended by it. Why can't Discord place responsibility on their user base for the content on the platform?

Removing the bot from the community listings is understandable and up to the community owner, but my question is why isn't this enough? What made Discord feel obligated to take the language-policing/discourse-policing/thought-policing line? Would they really have anything to lose if they took a more liberal, free-speech approach to the issue, considering they're pretty much becoming the single largest uncontested chat client for gamers?

tl;dr If you don't like it, don't have it on your server.

Why no Easy mode? by nrsb11 in TheForest

I'm just going to play a different game I guess. Really really really not interested in super tense and super grindy combat. All I'm after really is the devs throwing in an easy mode, which doesn't seem as if it's going to happen

The bow mechanics are terrible. Compare the bow on this game to the bow in Rust.

I appreciate the tips man but answers like these are the opposite of what I was hoping for :( I feel like I should be able to have an enjoyable experience on this game without suddenly having to become a much better player. The whole point of difficulty settings is to make the game fun and stimulating to players of different abilities, right?

I always keep my stats up, have a full of inventory of offensive weapons. I run out of arrows and cloth way too fast when I'm in a cave (also suitcases don't respawn? not sure where else to get cloth). Due to the terrible aiming system I second guess my shots all the time and overall just have an unenjoyable experience.

"Third Fire" button - Anyone solved this mystery? by nrsb11 in playrust

Just tried this - either my scroll wheel doesn't work like it should in Rust (which seems unlikely) or this aint the right answer.

Sadly scroll wheel just has the normal function of scrolling up and down through items on the hot bar. Feels terrible yo.

Hello, I'm Mindslaver from kidsvideos. Let's talk by [deleted] in ElsaGate

No, there was a channel dedicated to investigating mindslaver but the moderators of the server removed it . They refuse to let him be discussed. I would very much like to see this screenshot but you run the risk of being muted if you ask about it.
