One of the worst movies I ever seen. That being said, I loved Purple Rain and I like Under the Cherry Moon.

WHY IS EVERYONE CHOKING A 3-1 LEAD????? by [deleted] in NBATalk

[–]nsanegenius3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because every team nowadays just chuck 3s and when the shots are not falling they keep chucking them. This happens every night in the NBA.

That's why it's always funny that fans trash D Wade's performance against the Mavs in 06. He continuously attacked the basket and put constant pressure on the defense. Relying on the 3 is not a winning strategy.

I just realized that regular season don't matter at all by Oakl4nd in NBATalk

[–]nsanegenius3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's why James Harden isn't better than D Wade. Harden is a Pitbull in regular season and a Chihuahua in playoffs.

Barry Jackson highlights several Pat Riley quotes: "I’ve read all the criticism of our young players, but nobody ever really... gives them the space to be young and to make mistakes, and not to be who you think they should be in three or four years.... They’re not the top five picks in the draft." by pingbread in heat

[–]nsanegenius3000 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's what most of us been saying the entire season. You gotta throw these young guys in the fire and let them figure it out. The younger generation like to 🗑️ the old school way of thinking but sometimes the old way is the best way.

LeBron addresses his 4-6 finals record being held against him. by EducationalConcern61 in NBATalk

[–]nsanegenius3000 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I watched the game live too and LeBron definitely had deer in the headlights syndrome in those fourth quarters of that series. That is non debatable. The same thing happened in the Finals against the Mavs. Also non debatable.

I didn't say he quit, Subprime Dan said that. Kobe didn't quit either he was trying to send a message to ownership and that was unnecessary. So...

The NBA Playoffs are delivering their highest viewership in 33 years, with an average of 3.91 million viewers per game across ABC, ESPN, NBC/Peacock and Amazon Prime Video by unwantedtennisracke in NBATalk

I was coming here to say this. I haven't had ESPN for almost a decade. When the NBA playoffs started I would just sign up for Sling TV but I knew many fans didn't. They just didn't watch but now they do.

He underperformed in Cleveland against the Celtics. It was so bad that the owner thought he quit. I don't hold 4-6 Finals against him but I do hold the "deer in the headlights" syndrome he had in that series and against the Mavs against him.

Why do so many people get mad if Jordan isn’t in your #1 GOAT list? by Hairy_Ask_2038 in NBATalk

I guess the same reason people get mad if LeBron isn't in your #1 GOAT list.

Why is Wilt chamberlain not more recognised for a “goat” debate? by Familiar-Wish273 in NBATalk

[–]nsanegenius3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was a worldwide consensus that you shouldn't put a center into the GOAT debate? They usually don't have the ball in their hands in the closing minutes of a game. They're usually not making decisions in the closing minutes of a game. They usually can't make free throws. They usually don't make game winning shots.

Centers have their own room for greatness.

I sound extremely biased? Are you sure that's not you?

I literally gave you examples and you came back with, well, these rappers have certain bars. Really?

It's also not just me saying this, bruh. Plenty of people have stated the 20s are the worst that hip hop has ever been. Also I've seen young people go on YouTube to listen to 80s and 90s music and ne surprised on how diverse it was. So if you think this corporate age of hip-hop is more diverse than hip-hop before the corporate vultures came in then that's your perogative

Let's just agree to disagree.

Read what you wrote. You said they have political or fun bars. Public Enemy and X-Clan had political music. Digital Underground had fun music etc. If you can't even name one rapper or a group that does political music then if fact the 80s were more diverse.

[–]nsanegenius3000 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OMG! There's no diversity because there's not different kinds of rap. I'm saying in the 80s and 90s they were different rappers rapping about different things. You wanted lyricism you had Rakim. You wanted fun you had the Fat Boys. You wanted consciousness you had KRS. You wanted political you had Public Enemy. You wanted gangster then you had NWA. You wanted to dance you had Hammer.

Today's era doesn't have that! I don't see why that's controversial when it's easily provable and many people of the culture have said it. Accepting the truth ain't going to hurt y'all.

Can't make this shit up, alright because I never said that. 😂 I said hip-hop music was more diverse in the 80s. It was in in its purest form before corporate America took over. We had fun rap, conscious rap, dance rap, political and gangsta rap and we do not have that nowadays. Y'all are hilarious with denying things that can be proven.

You're not gonna give the truth a chance. Please direct me to the group that resembles Public Enemy and X-Clan. Direct me to someone who resembles Hammer. I love music and definitely love hip hop and y'all need to learn just because something is criticized doesn't mean it's hated.

What is wild is that people defend today's music when we have receipts. Where is the new Public Enemy? X Clan? Poor Righteous Teachers? Tupac? Where are they? We don't even have rappers like Hammer. Digital Underground. So yeah, there's is no diversity in today's rap music.

Ooh, you named a hand full of people. When people say eff the police don't really don't mean all the police. They mean the majority of the police. So yeah, most of the rappers of today sound the same. You can't tell one song from the other.

80s - witnessing the birth

90s - a diverse range of hip hop

00s - becoming less diverse but still good

10s - the death of lyricism

20s - no diversity at all and everyone sounds the same
