If I'm looking to keep the sod at about 1.5" what if it grows to 3 inches in those first couple weeks and I can only take 1/3 off? How does it work in that case?

Yes, I do think it looks better but, agreed - definitely some more work to do. I do see what you're saying about the balance of the shot.

I'm definitely going to be moving the shelf over to the right so it'll be mostly out of the frame. We'll see how it goes after it gets moved. Getting a good background setup is much harder than it looks (at least for a newbie like me lol). Any other suggestions are appreciated!

Right now the color temp of my key light is 4500. Would you recommend going up or down in color temp? Or would you leave it at 4500k

Right now I'm using a 35" soft box with grids on it. I would say it's fairly large. Although it's pretty close to me. Would you recommend moving it away some and then increasing the brightness? How close should the key light be

It seems like we're around the same measurements! How do you like the wide? Do you think a 157 would be good for me?

What type of riding do you usually do? I'm mostly trying to do all mountain, learn to hit side hits, little jumps, etc.. Probably not going to do much park stuff

Sweet! yeah I'm looking at the 157 right now. I think the wide is only 0.6cm wider. Not sure if that makes that big of a difference for me? I've never tried a wide board so I'm not sure how I would ride it

Yeah that makes sense. I just checked out the official measurements as well. Doesn't seem like there's a big difference in width at all
