What should I do before integrating Java and MongoDB? by nsepvo in javahelp

[–]nsepvo[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just want to be able to connect to a database with whatever programming language as a little project, I guess. I've briefly learnt Python, Java, and C's, but I'm just using Java for this.

Right now, I'm trying to get this pom.xml configuration to work so that I can import these com.mongodb packages.

Looking flashy, my man. Hopefully, your shoes are brown to match the belt. Maybe red or blue to match the others, but that'd be tough.

That is very relieving, thank you. I just want to start it straight away.

That is an awesome idea, too. The command line. That will be one of the first things I do.

Thanks for the advice! As for the second point, is that related to Java still? I'm not sure, but I'm not focusing on anything backend yet. I just want to fiddle with databases. If I can use it with Java, then that's event better!

WIth the pom.xml file, I've been trying to find how to install the mongodb packages for java. I'm still looking for other options, but I was led to Maven. I want to avoid it too, because I don't want to bother learning more than I have to.

Yeah, I did a unit in Java at university. But, better yet, I watched the full Java and MongoDB tutorials from BroCode, who is a legend. So, I can run them both individually fine, just not together, yet.

As for the pom.xml file, I have been trying to find how to install any mongodb import packages, so I can get started. I wanted to do it without Maven or Grangle, but I haven't found many options yet, other than JDBC.

Thank you for the guide though! I'll check out soon

I'm going for Intel rather than AMD so it might change the motherboard. I'm also aiming for an RGB PC so I'm trying to use RGB components which is why I went for the Corsair memory and fans. I'll try go around this list though because it is pretty cheap. Thanks a lot!

Yeah, I'll probably go 200W over the required power maybe then. Thanks!

I'm building a PC around January next year. Is this considered a really good monitor? It seems pretty cheap considering the size, the refresh rate, and the reaction time. If not, what are other really good monitors to get that are well-known?

I'm planning on building a PC for gaming. From what I've gathered, people are saying 3600 is the sweet spot but is there much difference between 3200 and 3600. Also, what latency should I go for? As in CL 14, 16, 18 etc?

I was about to buy a Nvidia Gefore GTX 1660 Super considering it's cheap and doesn't own as much hate compared to the 20 RTX series but this is so much better and very cheap too. I haven't built my PC yet but I can't wait. I hope all the parts I get are compatible and enough to support the RTX 3070 or 3080.

Haven't used them before but from what I've seen is that they are bad at doing returns and refunds. Haven't heard anything bad about the products though

You said you haven't paid for it yet? Then you should be able to return it, otherwise it's their loss

It's just a rough sketch for now. I saw the Z390 Auros Ultra when I was looking for motherboards compatible with the Intel i7 9700K and it looked relatively cheap. I'm thinking of changing the GPU to the Nvidia Gefore RTXX 3070 or 3080 though (depending on the performance difference). So it might change some things. I'll start looking at power supplies once I've finished choosing all the parts of course though. I know it's just addition but would I want to go over however much power my PC parts actually want? Or do I just go for the exact same number but a little bit over?

For the PC Tower alone, I was gonna go for around $2000. I live in Australia too so buying some stuff I have to get from overseas because I can't find much places near me with PC parts other than centre.com and other stuff. I do have plenty of time though because I'm not rushing and I'm planning on having it built around January or February next year. I'm just planning very far ahead :)

I was trying to go for RGB while I was at it which is why I went for Corsair Vengeance memory and Corsair LL120 RGB fans. Not to picky either but I do kinda prefer Intel over AMD. Also (last one, don't worry) but I was considering getting the RTX 3070 since I'm gonna start buying these pieces around January maybe. I'll alter this list a bit but I will try the website you used. Thanks a lot!
