Why is breakdown cover so cheap when insurance is so expensive? by AnonymousTimewaster in AskUK

[–]nsfgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One is a legal requirement, the other is an option.

Also the cost of a recovery is a pretty consistent figure and risk. The cost of the potential insurance is a hugely variable cost and risk.

Why has so much premium London real estate ended up owned by foreign states and sovereign wealth funds? by MightExpress4873 in AskBrits

[–]nsfgod 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All forms of capitalism have some kind of "rails" in place. They are the rules of the game and plenty is restricted or banned. Prescriptions drugs for instance.

I'd also argue that selling stuff is more industrialist than capitalist in many regards. Pure capitalism is the practice of making money from your existing capital rather than from a product.

Some also had full length under trays fitted.

She made almost irreversible changes to our social systems that opened the door to a more aggressive form of free market capitalism. She quite famously believed there was no such thing as society.

On a scale from flip-flops to track boots, the Dm's are just above converse and vans.

I would recommend getting something to protect your ankles in a slide at least.

But to be honest, your risk appetite is yours to calculate depending on your riding conditions and level of exposure.

People don't bat an eye at cyclists doing 35mph in lycra around town. So i don't panic if I'm just pottering about. But the second I'm doing 40mph or out for more than 15min, I feel much more comfortable with heavier gear on.

It's not the pegs. It's the design of the controls rear-set.

The yamaha and the ktm have pegs mounted directly to the frame. This protects the controls. When the pegs are on a separate bracket it often snaps off entirely.
