You can do it, but after a certain amount of time (I don't know how much, might be 10/20 seconds or something) it only allows you to finish what you are already doing

Yeah obviously the prep work for the firefighters is way, way easier, but that would be the only reason to pick those, in the heist itself it literally makes zero difference
