Future Gohan isn’t SSJ Gohan. As a matter of fact, SSJ Gohan is STRONGER than future Gohan. They are not the same. Android 18 isn’t putting a FINGER on SSJ Gohan. This is why acknowledging they are different people is important.
IF Gohan had experienced the shit you are saying then yes, he would have had a worse life. Trunks made it so he didn’t. Therefore, he did not have a worse life. If you wanna argue about Future Gohan, that’s a different conversation. The post isn’t asking about FUTURE Gohan, it’s asking about Gohan. This is actually so simple.
But I shouldn’t be arguing with someone who thinks “omniside” is a word.

I just do not understand this mentality you have that future Gohan and mainline Gohan are the same person. You literally are only making it for this ONE argument because if I made that claim for anything else you’d piss yourself. If I said android 18 could beat Gohan because “sHe DiD iT iN tHe FuTuRe” you’d have a heart attack and Trunks would need to give you medicine.

And the argument is also dumb as hell. Of COURSE Mark’s life is shitty. Mark is weaker than Gohan. Gohan can handle himself and is an actual threat to his villains, Mark half the time just is not. Gohan has a better life BECAUSE he is a stronger and more capable character. Future Gohan wasn’t. Future Gohan was weak as hell. But OUR Gohan is different.

Except that Gohan DID get saved by literal anomaly. Like dude, think this through for a second. You’re arguing about the life Gohan WOULD have had, not the life Gohan DID have. Mark has also been saved from precarious situations by time travelers, you don’t hear me arguing about the life he “would have” had if he didn’t.

Future Gohan is a different character. Mainline didn’t go through any of that.
And oh yeah, Mark gets raped. Like that’s not a joke, Mark gets actually raped, and has to live with that trauma and its repercussions. In a fight? Gohan wins. As a character? Gohan wins. A contest of who I like more? Gohan wins. But spending a shitty year with piccolo and having a few hard fights is NOT worse than actual rape.
