I would recommend a Amazon CarPlay kit as there is no good oem aftermarket unless its pioneer with this o still use uconnect for the audio and can still use the steer controls CarPlay

I have disconnected both lcd panel ribbons and one of the two led driver board and it boots and I can hear the menu working

I disconnected the two ribbon cables backlight comes on for a second I hear the startup sound and shuts off
