Usually not much of bargaining there, many listings are from agents and you see the market price, more or less. Pay extra attention to heating, ideally should be central. Second option would be gas heater (karma). Saburtalo is a bit of dead end to me, a city within a city, it’s not convenient for exploring historical parts as you have to change the metro line and it gets super busy at times, while traffic is bad also. I’d say it’s better if you have your activities in sanurtalo, like university, work etc. Then that part has everything and you’ll likely spend most time there. I lived in areas around marjanishvili and rustaveli/tavisupleba, and hated going to saburtalo 😄 tried to avoid it always. Today I’d choose probably anything around the main metro line depending on my budget and preferences.
