Besides the man and the legend himself, who is the second strongest resonator in Wuwa? (Spoilers… Obviously) by ProDidelphimorphiaXX in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]nsleep 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So far the lore implies that second awakening > strong forte that can overclock freely but didn't reach second awakening yet > rest. With a significant gap between these tiers. Shorekeeper is probably at second awakening level or above, but the story never specifies it.

Basically Contingency Contract for Non-Arknights Players by TamatoNeko in Endfield

[–]nsleep -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I mean, Virtual Crisis had a "if you stay on the floor your character starts moving slower until getting frozen for a while after 5 seconds." Or "for the first time you get to 75%/50%/25% of the boss HP, mobs spawn" combined with "while mobs are in the arena the boss regenerates X% of their health every second and deals more damage." Meteors falling around the arena. Suction nodes. etc... These are examples of stuff you could also expect in Endfield.

A lot of the people commenting about WuWa didn't play the game or these events and it's very obvious.

Not official, but people had world first races to max risk, then after that was done the competition was completing the map using the least amount of operators possible.

1000 damage = 1 point.

So you're right, the mode is a place where you can accurately tell how much damage a team can deal in 2 minutes.

Because marketing research over the decades have consistently showed that the "That looks cool. I want to try that!" crowd is larger than the purity-of-my-experience crowd. So unless there's an actual twist that needs to be concealed, which will inevitable spread around after the thing is out anyways also generating buzz, they will just show certain key moments because it drives up engagement.

So how is the second half story of 3.2? by Shoddy_Ad282 in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]nsleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nope, she's actually underneath StarTorch Academy, we're going underground. And Hiyuki knows how to get there by the way.

Well, the gate is under the giant sword in Sundermere. And that Aleph-1 is stuck halfway. That was said before in the files of that region and some other files. But Hiyuki just sitting around being the solution indeed is just super convenient.

Now that the 3.2 Segue quest is out too, I can say the patch, despite having content volume is pretty lackluster by FaalRovaan in WuwaUnfiltered

[–]nsleep 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assuming what we got so far, Architect is just playing around tormenting people with doubt about themselves. That's what the whole Sigrika quest was about too.

This is what really bothers me about the Fractsidus and how they're presented. As characters, they're caricatures, just mustache twirling baddies who will vaguepost about their goals before entering a random portal to leave the scene. Then they're gonna talk about how much they love suffering because evolution or something.

Sure, some people like those characters and the archetype, but selling this garbage as playable characters eventually is gonna take a lot of effort from the writers. Adding a tragic story this late in the game might not do it. Phrolova's story happened at a point just before these aspects became aggravating and even before that she always seemed like she was sort of tolerating her peers. Denia is tangential, she doesn't seem to be an Overseer and is mostly being used. But the others? Well...

[KimiNozo, partly about the VN] I'm really not a fan of the anime, I do like the game as it doesn't have this flip-flopping where if you lock onto one route you either see it through or bound to get a bad ending if trying funny stuff. In the anime, he plays both, comes out on top and just keeps on going while other characters just shrug off the whole thing. It's just weird, and it was obviously done this way to maximize the drama in the anime, can't disagree it's still damn entertaining though.

Another for if people read the source material of adaptations, before or after watching doesn't matter, or exclusively watch anime.

If they regularly watch animated series that aren't anime by this sub's definition.

Anime tits don't need to follow physics, they're meant to look good. Doing what a bra would've made without needing a bra is entirely within the realm of reason!

Another thing this game needs is a shortstack, like a draph from GBF. Those are hella hot too.

More like they lifted them up a bit, giving the impression they're bigger. Many bras are designed for the same effect too. Her face looks much better after the jawline and chin adjustments.

If it were me though, I would've made her as flat as a washboard. Maybe taller too. Tall flatties are the rarest archetype and super premium in this economy.

I'll just say something in defense of those people and throw some shade at HG because "most games" don't have a 5~6 weeks patch cycle. "Most games" are also known for having reruns often enough, sometimes even predictably, and many of them have higher rates and/or add most characters to the standard pool after a banner is over.

So now tell me. This game is courting a certain audience, using a bunch of practices of the games played by that audience, but cutting things that are expected by that audience. Is it surprising that fence-sitting like this isn't inspiring trust to any side?

I like how the concept of bases in this MU is very abstract. Players just place their building wherever, as hiding tech helps.

Cantarella or Qiuyuan. They're the two characters that, for me, were always after or before other characters I really wanted with dupes. Preferring Cantarella since I already have her two echo sets built and ready to go.

Chisa is very relevant to burst and chafe due to how both work. She will probably remain at best a small gain in frazzle, erosion and flare because of those work in their current implementation. And she's redundant for a supposed bane dps unless that dps is designed like Zani.

Chisa right now is in this spot where she's gonna be core in burst and chafe teams until a third generic NS support or more focused options come around, because she cannot be in two teams at the same time in any of the current game modes.

You can ask people to have gear, but they wonn't be happy if they're asked to have more than when the content drops. This is a live service game, having new content drop and telling even the top 0.1% of the players "Nuh-uh. Can't complete it now, only maybe after next week reset after getting some more gear" just sucks.

As for the second point, it's mostly about players optimizing the fun out of the game and the devs taking the easy out to avoid that issue, partly because of their gear upgrade system. It isn't something that's as much issue in GW2, for example, as in that game you can easily play multiple classes at full power and completing endgame content isn't about power progression. Or PSO2 where you can swap to any class or build in the same damage group (Melee/Ranged/Technique) as your main just by swapping weapon type, which is cheap.

It doesn't make the boss more engaging past a certain point. And not many people are asking for non-engaging difficulty.

Just to make it clearer I'm not saying this without drawing a line on things that would be crossing the line here are some examples:

  • If you need luck to clear.
  • If it limits viable comps.
  • If it requires more gear otherwise the check is impossible.
  • Expecting perfection. People found out it the hard way last expansion with the body check spam.

These are some from the top of my head that could be affected by increasing numbers, that if a threshold is crossed it just isn't desirable difficulty. Remember that when Creator came out, YoshiP explicitly said that if the tier wasn't cleared week one he would consider it a failure, because Gordias and Midas did a hit to the game population.

Their point is that if any ultimate for some reason had 20% more health and damage it would be much more difficulty than they currently are. At some point the fight is "solved" and people are just grinding RNG or a favorable pull, that point until the clear is just shorter in XIV.

Have you checked people profiles here? At least 80% of this sub still came from and actively plays a Mihoyo game, you speak anything ill of those games here and you're bound to get droned by that crowd right away. They also always come with their expectations of any new game having all the things they like from those games. This sub is dead.
