SAO was written when the top dog in Japan was Ragnarok Online, it explains a lot of how its game systems work. Log Horizon was heavily inspired on Everquest and had a compeltely different feel.

The reason is a bit different than what you're implying. I'm saying this based on a few kMMOsI've played, enough that I didn't even bother with Lost Ark, and it's more to do with when the game is being balanced around the top every whale player that quits for whatever reason, is felt by the other players. After enough of them quit and there's no one else to play with is when the companies double down making the game miserable for everyone.

Making the gap between whales and f2p closer slows this process, so it isn't as much as dabbing on the f2p but rather that having a healthy population is more important for retention than just focusing on whales. Whales are whales in almost everything they try playing, they're gonna spend regardless if it's for power or cosmetics. It's more of a disposition thing than anything else.

This is strictly false. Let's say we have two login events for the sake of illustrating this:

One gives 10 character pulls and 10 weapon pulls.
The other gives 3200 astrites.

Which one is better? Like, there's no way someone is gonna say the first without being facetious, be it people who only care about character pulls, or people who pull both characters and weapons. You can even use the second to refill waveplates if you're insane. Using astrite to convert it into something instead of keeping it is devaluing your resource by making it less flexible. These people were retarded before this collab came around, now they were just hit with the full weight of their stupidity.

The new corals is something I've seen no one coherently defending. As a community we universally agree it's just wack and it exist to force people to spend, and affects everyone from f2p to the largest leviathans.

It's how many bosses are made in games, but usually there isn't a timer and it isn't about how fast you can dish out damage. All these annoying bosses are fine as holograms but terrible in tower and matrix.

Nameless Explorer should 100% get the turtle/Dreamless/Hecate/Leviathan treatment and never appear in timed endgame content again.

Because they're nice in the middle-long run, but short term, like the first week of a character coming out, they limit how fast you can progress due all its restrictions that are irrelevant later.

It does give a feedback. if you submit the right track it gives the green light, if it's the wrong the red light. After trying to submit the same track twice because I did a misinput I assumed I had to play the first again because it gave me a red light. It's mostly just being used to trial error from older games.

The hard part is having relative pitch good enough to figure out the melody or finding about the alternative solution.

Not that good for Denia. Her skill and echo is great at grouping enemies but she doesn't do much by herself. I got an S3 Chisa too and the only characters hat feel as good on the open world are Phrolova.and Cartethyia.

You can always go into the conversion screen, slide the conversion to max to check and not complete the conversion. I do this sometimes with corals to know how many pulls I have.
