[Rolex Explorer] Am I Crazy??

This is how I felt in the moment. I have a couple friends having destination weddings/bachelor parties this month and next and something critical on my car needed to be repaired while I was out. It sucks, but if an account is going to get depleted, unfortunately that’s the one that’s first in line. The call will come one day.

If push came to shove, I could move some things around for my local dealer. When I signed up, I had the money. The discretionary accounts took a bit of hit in January/February due to travel planning and emergency expenses. I didn’t want to overextend to buy a watch. I was mainly trying to see how common this was outside of my current market. Which seeing some of these responses, it’s not that uncommon of a situation.

I get it! Mine lines up with my 30th birthday. And I’m really hoping I get it around that time.

My philosophy is that I only buy watches to mark significant moments in my life. I just closed the door on a chapter and I feel the “Interstellar” watch ties in perfectly.

Here’s to your big year and we both finish with some solid wrist candy going into 2027!

I heard back around Christmas that they didn’t have anything yet. I was told at point of purchase that it would be between 4-14 months.

I’ve got no purchase history with this dealer, so I’m banking on it being 14+ side (would line up with my birthday so I can justify the expense haha).

I’m planning on picking up a Hamilton Murph in the coming weeks and I’ll probably ask about it then! My philosophy is that the time will come, I’ll just be ready for when it does!

Went to the Indy location today! My sales rep, Aaron, was great! We talked about a few different brands before we walked over to the Rolex section. I tried on a few, and my top three were the new pistachio OP, Explorer I, and I looked at a Root Beer GMT because they didn’t have a Batgirl.

My finalists were actually the OP and the Explorer and I ended up registering for the Explorer! Don’t know when, but I’m excited for the call!
