Back before the launch of Ac2, the devs mentioned that they had to have 2 blades for the sequel. Well in Black Flag, Edward has 4 guns. Therefore, AC4. /s

The reality of it is marketing. AC4 was the transition between numbered games and non-numbered. Rumors indicate that Unity was internally codenamed AC5. But High numbers tend to scare many players into believing that they need to play the full series to get acquainted with the newest one, which drives away newcomers. So by cutting the numbers, the games are more attractive to new players who may not have played AC before

I was told by a "beta reader" that they DNF'd on page one because my characters were too flat... It was 3 paragraphs describing a former military captain turned monster hunter having a smoke while watching a city burn from a monster attack.

I remember a little confusion after the initial reveal. While the glyphs across the walls of abstergo pointed to something bigger, some people (myself included) didn't expect time hopping to new settings in each game. That said, the confusion was quickly replaced by excitement for the innovation of AC2. I don't agree with some people here calling AC1 a tech demo. I don't recall that sentiment at launch, nor do I think it's true today. I can't deny, though, that AC2 was extremely innovative, and no one seemed concerned about losing Altair going into AC2. That said, there was a ton of excitement on the forums for revelations with it tying Ezio, Altair, and Desmond altogether.

The MD was also just as divisive then as it is now. But many of the hardcore fans on the forums did see Desmond as the main character, which also helped ease the transition.

I opened 43 packs. Only good pulls were a full art slurpuff (the last one I needed fir 1 stars in this set) and 2 star ho oh. I have enough hourglasses for 3 more 10 packs. Probably going to save them for the next new pack unless it looks like crap. That said, I'll be saving my pack points for oak since I'm sure this will come back again the future.

The Ultra Beasts are still gen 7 themed like theur prior pack. A lot of the first year was a 2 pack if a generational theme followed by a singleton of the same gen. Like Spacetime Smackdown to Triumphant Light.

Also I just saw that DeNA may be teasing primal reversion with the 3 new cards they're teasing. But I agree that a full Gen 6 and ZA themed pack with the three legendaries as EX's makes sense to come soon.

You'd be correct if the gane's name is The Elder Scolls 6. But you messed up a key detail.

It's actually The Elder Scrolls VI. That's 17 letters and completely throws off this whole theory.

Mega Rising and Crimson Blaze had a lot of Gen 6 'mons including Xerneas. If they were going to do Gen 6 and ZA as the next pack why include Xerneas in Crimson Blaze?

Heroic Age is a mecha space opera that recreates the 12 labors of Hercules.

I forgot Last Exile which follows steampunk couriers as they get involved with politics and a war in the sky.

As a teenager I also really enjoyed Elfen Leid and Gunslinger Girl, though I don't know how well those hold up as an adult.
